Beef and Bun in Bedford

Nice lunchtime meal. Was 12.50 for 2 course and 15.50 for 3 course. I had 3 course and each course was tasty. I would recommend, the staff were friendly and efficient.We went for a birthday meal we did not ask for anything special but they brought out a tile with happy birthday written in chocolate sauce a strawberry and cookie. Over and above thank you. Would recommend 👌

A nice place to grab a bite to eat but not the cheapest. Offers a daytime menu deal. Starters and main were good but thought we would push the boat out and have dessert. This is where it all went wrong hence the 3 stars.We ordered apple pie and shortly starting it my wife found a piece of plastic in it. Obviously this was bought to the waiters attention immediately who apologised and took the dessert away. To be fair he did offer a replacement but this kind of killed the meal experience understandably.The manager (we guess it was a manager, as he didn't introduce himself) then came to our table and apologised for the problem and took the cost of desserts off the bill. I know these things can happen but the removal of the dessert cost was minimal especially as the wife had barely eaten any of it. We wasn't after the whole cost to be waived but feel a better offer could of been made.Would we go again?Yes probably but have to be timed right as it can get busy.

We had a great night and was welcomed with a friendly smile from Maria. Who made us feel welcome. As for the food, I would have given you 4 star the pasta and meatballs was out of taste. And my son didn’t eat it. But Maria with her experience made sure we were looked well and took the pasta bill out. Because of her good well and service you got my 5 start. She is a star

Smart wear only. It's expensive so not visiting often. Shocked to hear they have zero grass fed steaks. The experience was fun. I went for the 16 Oz steak.

Came here for an early Valentines Treat. Food was amazing, only thing I would of liked with the pork belly was the fat to be slightly crispy. Everything tasted amazing, service was spot on. And drinks were lush. Came to just under £100 for 2 people but definitely worth it as a treat.

Nice midweek meal out. Friendly greeting upon entering and a chatty (in a good way) and knowledgeable serving person.The food is quick,but not so quick that you can’t sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Steaks are perfect. Rare is perfectly rare and the meat is tender and tasty.Clean and tidy, nice decor and a welcoming ambience.We’ll be going back for sure.

If you want a steak then this is the pace to come.Never let down and always cooked perfectly.Great service and always seem to be served quickly no matter how busy they are.Can't wait to come back again

There's a reason Miller and Carter is very popular. The service is epic! The food is amazing and lovingly prepared! The server who took care of us is a credit to the business. Charming, understanding and went to all lengths to ensure we had a delightful meal. I was pleasantly shocked when the chef showed concern over my dietary requirements and even suggested how he was going to cook my meal differently as a result. Amazing service and with a human touch. I feel like every customer matters to this business and this is why we will be coming back! I could write more paragraphs singing praises, but will let others experience what this beautiful restaurant has to offer and make the judgment for themselves😊. Thank you Miller and Carter for restoring my faith in quality service still being present with some establishments.

Overall, the whole experience was great. The man who greeted us at the front desk was cheerful and funny, and he explained to us that nothing had really changed since COVID had hit, except that we need to wear a mask when not eating and try to remember to follow the one way system.The food was also great. Pictured here is an 8oz Sirloin and fries. Avoid the salad, as it is literally a chunk of lettuce drizzled in salad dressing, unless you are into that.We booked for a Father's day lunch two days in advance, and the whole experience was painless and easy. Would easily recommend to anyone who wants a good steak or just a nice dinner out in general.

Tasty food but the Côte de Boeuf was not cooked evenly, part of it was quite rare, not the medium we ordered.
