Had breakfast here. I had veggie version, other half had full English. Service was good. only comment I would make is I don't like hot water from flasks for tea. It never seems hot enough. All in all a nice brekkie followed by walk around priory marina.

We booked a table of ten, had a family reunion after over 20 years, 2 people flew in from another country.I told the waitress that 4 of us were on one bill, and to ask the others so check out would be simple. The bill arrived, with all 10 on the same bill.I asked one guy if he could void it off and re do it, but was told he wasn't prepared to do that, as it would take 30 minutes and be a disruption to the running of the restaurant. So I went around and asked everyone what they had.. plus drinks ect. Then the guy said I'm not doing the math for you....We did have issues with the food, 4 meals were cold, over an hour wait for food. They had already given a discount on the check for the trouble, I asked for a manager (I'm not convinced the girl they sent was a manager at all) very unhelpful. She didn't know what to do to rectify the issue....... as the discount was applied to the whole bill.In the end, we had to split the check 10 ways just so we could leave, it wasn't fair as some ordered starters.. and double shot drinks. So for this reason I will not recommend, or go back. The saddest thing was, my dad is terminal, and this was the last time we could get together as a family.

We went here for a meal on a Saturday afternoon and we loved it. The atmosphere was nice and chilled and the food was beautifully done. Before we sat down we noticed some writing on the wall about how their steaks are just how you want it. We joked about it being a big statement... we soon shut up! My friend had a steak and she said it was perfect. I had the house stack burger and it was delicious. And as someone who loves mac and cheese, their mac and cheese side was right up there!! The staff were amazing. There was a young lad especially, I didn't get his name, but he in particular was an absolute darling. Very polite and clearly takes pride in his job. Even if it includes cleaning up spilt peppercorn sauce! We were very happy with our experience and with the nice weather coming, we will definitely be back soon.

There is char grilled and burnt to a crisp I have been using beefeater for 40+ years and this was the worst by far the eggs were rubber the mushroom burnt to a crisp the steak tasted as if it had been rubbed around the chimney. The picture is of a mushroom. Not good.

Very very short staffed (tbf maybe COVID related) but the staff that are working went above and beyond. Food was all good quality (we had brunch) other than the pancakes that were still slightly frozen (I put this down to the low staff numbers)! The kids eating free made it very worthwhile. Overall, it's what's you would expect however the quality of food was definitely above par for a similar style place.

Popped in for breakfast on route to meetings, what a great find. Spotlessly clean, well presented and feels like someone cared about the place. Staff were friendly without being intrusive, cooked breakfast was great and plenty of it. Coffee machine tasted like it was cleaned regularly and was set to a good blend for breakfast. Value for money is fantastic. All in all, if I’m in the area again I would definitely be going back.

I liked it especially because it is situated within the Priory Country Park and there is a good walking route available to exercise off the extra calories you've just eaten 😀 The food was good what I would expect from the Beefeater chain. The service was exceptional really lovely table waiter and Manager. I will definitely be back. Thank you

The restaurant itself is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.The wait time was very long but the place was fully booked. The lamb starter was dry and overpriced. I tried the steak. It was bland, no seasoning whatsoever. Very fatty steak, not trimmed at all. Finally, for £22, I was expecting more quantity in terms of garnish. My friends that tried the burger and the fried chicken were content with their food. Finally, at no point did they ask us if we enjoyed the food. Not even when the server took the starter only half eaten.

Came here for a bite to eat before cinema. Service good, but portion size very small. Get more chips at McDonald’s! Over priced for basic food.

Don't believe the firms pics of their food this was £21 worth of steak dumped on a plate took 45min to cook and then brought to table as pic, this was the only course had as most things off the menu, and not so good service waited 30 mins for a drink given a complimentary one as well but didn't ever get it due to wait for serviceShould have gone as suggested by local staff to the Toby Carvery up the road for better service and better prices will never use the place again during stay refused to pay for poor service and even poorer food as prepaid via Premier Inn money yet to be refunded into account..............To update this review and to be fair to the company I have today been informed that our costs are now being refunded as the service fell below that of what was expected with an apology... Beware insist on good service
