Chef Beijing in Bedford

Not even worthy of 1 star but can't give less!!!! Awful takeaway with items missing and my partner found a piece of plastic in his food. Rang up to ask about missing item and get a refund for the item with plastic in and we were given so much abuse i couldn't believe it, we were swore at and was told never to order from here ever again..... safe to say we never will even if they were the last Chinese takeaway on earth. They need to be closed down!!!!!

The food was tasty and hot. They forgot one item but went out of their way to deliver it with some complimentary crackers. Very impressed. Thank you.

I ordered a takeaway and it arrived one and a half hours after ordering and actually cold. I rang the business to explain and the guy said “how can this be- Don’t order again” I would advise anyone thinking of ordering from this business to think twice- terrible service and rude. No attempt made to sort the issue

I have ever had worse tasteless food in my entire life. I ordered dry pork ribs, they were just yellow fat, smelling horrible and tasted worse. Chow Mein was greasy and tasteless. I had to bin it. I will not order again from Chef Beijing , it was waster of money and time. Wouldn't recommend. Worse chinese restaurant in Bedford!

Not even worth 1 star but it's the minimum I can give. Food arrived 2 hours after ordering. Wrong food delivered. Waited another hour for the right food to come. Then got told to send the food back because I complained. How this place even exists is beyond me.

So … the food was running late … had already been over 45 mins so I phoned to check where the order was .. the guy on the phone was dismissive .. obviously wasn’t Interested in explaining why the food was late .. kept trying to end the conversation before I had chance to talk .. will be another 15 mins I was informed24 mins later my daughter calls .. whoever replied was rude .. obnoxious even .. when all my daughter was doing was asking where the food was .. it had left the building 5 mins before apparently .. don’t ever bother to place an order here again she was told … don’t worry we wouldn’t put ourselves through rhat experience again .. food cold and generally unappetising .. seriously? Don’t bother with this excuse of a takeaway

I have starred this incorrectly. I have never had such a bad Chinese meal or any meal come to that - it smelled bad and tasted worse. The whole meal is in the bin. A very bad experience and I just hope I'm not ill from the small amount I ate. I can't get rid of the smell from the house. This restaurant should be closed.

Food took 2t mins longer than stated guy had a attitude. Chow mein was greasy. Sweet and sour sauce was watery I had stomachs gripes. So not good at all.

Delivery was 45 minutes late, when received was stone cold, the chips were fries and only suitable for the bin. The spring rolls were no better than those you can buy for £1 in a supermarket, chow menu and chicken balls were average and sweet and sour sauce was like water. Would not recommend or return. Theman answering phone was also rude when contacted to ask a time

The worst takeaway I've ever had the misfortune of ordering, the food was totally inedible and all had to go in the bin. The duck wasn't even recognisable as meat. The noodles where so unpleasant even the dog wouldn't eat them. I would still be disappointed in this meal if they offered me money to eat it.
