We turned up on spec one evening while staying in hotel locally, we were impressed with the welcome and service. Food was delicious I had the coconut curry & quite a few veggie options are available.. Choice of ales was to my liking. Will def return next time we are down south.

It's better than OK! I had heard and read good reviews. Went for Dinner on a Saturday evening and whilst there was absolutely nothing wrong with the welcome, the food or the service, and I'd happily recommend, there just wasn't enough atmosphere, variety of food for me to hurry back.

We booked one of the conference rooms for a training day yesterday and everything about this venue is great. The room set up was excellent - with everything we needed to hand - audio visual and flip charts etc.The lunch provision was impressive - and everything from tea and coffee available to the delegates throughout the day in our room.The staff are excellent and we will be back - thank you!

Food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Went for a special occasion and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Can’t comment on the surrounding views, as we went in the evening. The building does give off community centre vibes, as a opposed to fine dining. It took a long time for staff to come over just to get drink orders. The waitresses don’t seem to be knowledgeable, I asked about the Christmas menu and the waitress went to go and ask her Manager and never came back. My mother wanted a mock tail, and according to the waitress, they weren’t able to take out the alcohol, because the cocktails are apparently pre made. Even though we witnessed with our own eyes, a cocktail being made. If you will tell people that the cocktails are pre made, then you shouldn’t be charging so much. The food took around 40 minutes to come out. The steak was tough, the sea bass was bland, had to order veg on the side, the battered fish was bland, the turkey was dry and the hog burger was ok. The pear and rice pudding dessert was horrible. Definitely wouldn’t say it was a fine dining experience. Food was poor, waitresses weren’t attentive or knowledgeable. The two stars are purely because they bought out a happy birthday plate and ice cream for my mum.

Corner 5 Restaurant is Classy place to celebrate life! There a variety of delicious food to choose from, from starters, main right through to dessert! The drinks menu has everything you can think of from wine, spirit, champagne to beer! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Took my wife on her birthday, called an hour before arriving, they prepared a beautiful romantic dinner for us! It was absolutely beautiful, my wife was utterly surprised. I recommend this place any day! Well done 👏🏽 guys.
