Beautiful, well renovated and stylish decor. Food was delicious - I had the steak. Very friendly staff. Plenty of seating inside and out. Dog friendly. We went out for the night before returning just before midnight, and Graham the night manager, was an absolute angel letting me in and making sure I had a full bottle of water for bed. Lovely comfy bedding and bath/shower/sink in my room. Would definitely stay here again.

First of all, service was excellent. Joel couldn’t have done enough for us, he was amazing! However, the meal left a lot to be desired. We had 8 of us eating so ordered some nibbles of bread and olives - do not get the olives, they were disgusting! Then we got our mains, the aubergine was undercooked so we sent that back and it was still undercooked when we got it back, the lamb was dry and we had to ask for some more sauce to make it less dry, the brisket was a tiny portion, the burger was over cooked and the seafood risotto had barely any seafood in it. The deserts on the other hand were amazing, which made the meal slightly less awful. For a restaurant that “seems” like it’s trying to be upmarket, it didn’t show it. The toilets were battered, chips all over the walls, no toilet roll holders and an overflowing bin. Obviously that’s the least of their worries if the food is bad but it’s another thing that wasn’t great.

We booked the restaurant (library room) for mum's funeral reception (The Awake)The food was awesome and exceeded guests expectation. The staff were very polite and friendly.. They managed to make sure that everything was topped up from coffee to food while staying out of guests ways. One of the guests said, "the staff are like invisible ninjas"The atmosphare was exceptional and George made sure that we have a stress free day knowing the difficult time that family is going through.I would recommend this place for any functions that you may have.. From birthdays to business meetings to funeral receptions.

A lovely place with friendly service. I went for Sunday breakfast with friends and the food was well cooked and presented. We were sat in a booth which was comfortable and gave a feeling of privacy. I would definitely go back.

Visited for breakfast and really enjoyed my smashed avocado on toast. Not the largest vegan menu but nice food.

Lovely and cosy. Had logs burning in the fire place and that made it the best. Great tasting dinner! And they now have an amazing tiramisu on the dessert menu. Starts and mains, not even gonna talk about them as those were delicious. Seasonal as well.

I lived here for 8 weeks. I had almost every item on the menu plus off menu items, yeah they can make that. Seriously solid food, exceptional bar man, all around amazing staff. Need a tip for sight seeing in London? Ask. Need to learn about gin or scotch? Bam. Want something different for breakfast(sorry English folks I got tired of eating a standard breakfast after a while)? Covered. While I loved the staff, I think what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere they create and the other customers they draw in. I met lots of people in for a night out or a weekend getaway. Ones that stick out were a couple in town to do falconry and another from south of London who turned me onto Glenmorangie ginger beer with a lemon. Probably not the largest selection on tap, but probably the cleanest taps and best quality pulls in town.I miss you guys. D’Parys is my home away from home.

Fabulous room. Great restaurant, lovely atmosphere, food delicious. Even the playlist during dinner was perfect. Can't wait to return.

Edit: just had a great response from d'Parys on this review that shows how amazing the staff are here. Thanks for making the effort. The staff we're incredible and really made this visit. The food was acceptable. Looked great, but just didn't make me smile. Every dish missed that something. I'd be happy making this at home, just not being served it.

Beautiful venue, but food over priced for what it is. The restaurant itself is absolutely lovely, really stylish with great ambience. But on both occasions that I've had food it's been underwhelming. The toilets also let the pub down. They need redecorating as the sealant is black around the sinks and the paint is peeling. I'd come back for drinks, but wouldn't eat here again.
