It's OK, nice location, dog friendly outside, food is acceptable but service was lacking. Ordered on app. First young waitress brought out my food but no cutlery. Second young lad brought when requested cutlery a knife and fork..just that no napkin. Best of it was I'd ordered a pudding ..waffle and ice cream with a knife and fork.. gave up just ate it.

Loved it! Good area to go walking keep in mind that cyclists also use the same walking lane as the pedestrians however it's well sign posted with priority given to walkers. Lots of ducks & swans live here and there is plenty of benches scattered around the walking lane should you chose to take a rest. I loved the views and there's also the added benefit of a coffee shop

Lovely place.. so relaxing and beautiful. Right next to the water. Really cute animals all around. Grab a quick bite to eat from friendly staff and enjoy a lush ice cream after. Highly recommended ❤️

Absolutely lovely venue and scenery. The staff are extremely kind and helpful especially if you have certain food intolerance. A lovely meet up with an old friend today, made perfect by the staff. I had baked beans on sourdough toast today, quite simply the best I ever had 😁.

Always a delight to visit, Danish Camp feels like it grew here - like the willow trees by the water's edge. The addition of a second bar in the marquee area to rear has really helped when it's busy (orders can be taken more rapidly). Staff are friendly and attentive, and clearly take pride and pleasure in delivering great food and drinks. This is a place I'm proud to take visitors to Bedford, showing off the Great Ouse Valley park. Take the 3 mile walk from the Embankment in town, then chill a while at Danish Camp.P.S. Had to include this photo! It's wonderful that this place is truly accessible to all.

A fantastic place to visit. Good food, nice views and an owl came for a visit too.

What a wonderful spot and certainly somewhere I’ll be returning to repeatedly. For some reason I’d imagined there being more activities, especially for children, but instead you’re left to your own devices with walks and cycle tracks through the forest and canal area. Not that this is anything to complain about though - it’s all signposted well, the tracks are in great condition and there’s lots of space for everyone. The main camp itself is a fantastic retreat though, with seating / tables on the lawn as well as veranda overlooking the canal. There’s a sizeable food and drink menu which one can order from through an app as well as from the plentiful staff roaming around. The waiting staff are certainly on the inexperienced side, however food is brought in good time and portion size can’t be complained about with the prices. The burger was flavoursome and while somewhat basic in presentation was completely satisfying - you come here for the location and relaxing setting primarily. Drinks were perfectly cold upon serving, all the tables were cleans and there’s plenty of toilets on site. This is a wonderful spot in Bedford and even if you’re not in the area for cycling or a long walk, it’s worth the trip on a nice day.

Came here yesterday with my family. Had drinks, other people were having breakfast and looked amazing, so definitely coming back for breakfast. My boys loved the Ozzy the 🦉 owl. The place was lovely and clean and staff are very friendly 😊.

Had a quick stop at this hidden gem (literally hidden and accessible through a driveway between some houses) and enjoyed it. Give you a feeling of being away on holiday. Food was lovely. The view out the window spectacular. Weather not so much 🙄.
