Harrowden Fisheries in Bedford

Been here a couple of times and will definitely be back. It's so rare to find a chip shop that actually cuts and cooks their own chips, they are without doubt the best chips in town. Great service and great food, highly recommended

I've visited here a couple of times now and my experience has been excellent both times. The chips are fantastic and were cooked fresh each time. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, it's a really great fish and chip shop.

Visiting the area and visited based on the online reviews. Great service. Large portions of home made chips. Cod was excellent - light crispy batter, and beautiful fish. Highly recommended 10/10

Cod and chips best I've ever tasted! Sticky toffee pudding delicious.Regular order for us but excited to try other dishes to see if as good.

Top customer service. Very welcoming and warm. Good humour and made you feel very comfortable. Food was made very quickly and had very nice crispy chips. A rare sight nowadays! Would definitely recommend!

Went last night and as soon as I left I called the missus to not only say I got the food but also to say that it's run by the nicest people. They helped me out massively and the food was fantastic. Thanks again! I'll definitely be back

Lovely freshly cooked fish and chips every time, not precooked rubbish. You wont be disappointed the owner realy cares about customer satisfaction, enjoy...

I phoned in a complicated order for 7 people. The customer service on the phone was great - really friendly, listened well, repeated the order back to check it was correct, and gave an accurate estimate for when to collect it. On collection, everything was ready, and packaged really well (no paper sticking to food as I've had elsewhere). And once home, the food was perfect. Exactly what I ordered, big portions and really tasty. All round brilliant!!

Great food, lovely piece of cod made to order. Must try Fisheries home made chilli sause. Excellent service. Gentleman serving was very friendly and welcoming. Refreshing to see so much pride taken in their food.

Amazing fish and chips. The fish was so light and crispy and chips were tasty. The owner was jolly and keen to have a laugh. I will go again
