Nando's - Bedford in Bedford

Ordered twice 2 days in a row and the driver did not appeared but instead marked the ordered as delivered! We waited for 2h and no one called or knocked at the door! This is unacceptable! I called driver 10 times and he does not want to answer the phone!

Very poor experience today when attended the Bedford Nando’s.I ordered via the QR code on the table and the store wasn’t that busy, members of staff all seemed to congregate together by the front door and all food was lined up under the heat lamps. After waiting 30 minutes I decided to go and find out what was taking so long and was told ‘I’m just about to bring it over now’.Once we received the meals it was clear they had been under the heat lamps for a while the chicken was dry and marinade was black and ‘chargrilled’ onto the butterfly, the butter for the corn was like water where it had been under the lamp. No staff members come over to see how the meal was or if we needed anything etc (I know from previous experience this is what they usually do). We left straight after eating our meals quite dissatisfied. It was a shame as I have had a pleasant time here before but it seemed as if the staff would rather have a chat then focus on the customers.

Had a call from Ross (the general manager) and he is incredible. Ross went out of his way to give me a call regarding a note that I had left on my order - his customer service skills were brilliant, very friendly & pro active!

We are loyal Nando's customers and been to many restaurants. I can confirm this is the worst Nando's for sure.First time we've been there, 50 minutes waiting queue time. We agreed and waited, then other 30 minutes inside waiting out food after the order.Second time we've tried, 40 minutes waiting time, we left.Third time, same as above, 40 minutes waiting time, we left.I promised myself that was the last time in that place. I would now drive 40 minutes to Milton Keynes than thinking about going there.Avoid losing your time and don't go to this Bedford branch, sh** place!

As a foreigner, it was a first time in a Nando's. The chips were cold but good 😅 the burger was not practical to eat, the sauce on the upper bread was very spicy so I had to drink a lot... The order was very long to come for me. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.

Hi!I am truly happy and blessed that I have had a good time with my dear friend Traycho from Bulgaria. We had an awesome dinner and trust me we got satiated. He was wrong and admitted that it was good, that he enjoyed the place.Like I said, I love the rice and the chicken wings. Anytime I come to that place that's the main food menu I take as an African myself. Though he didn't like the chips but I did so I finished his remaining but chicken he literally did not waste time leaving any one lol.Some time I may try different menus but I have enjoyed the dinner with my good friend and like I said, I have taken him there successfully and he's going back to his country. I guess that was the last time for him to go to Nandos, so at least he's happy.I wanna thank the waitress white Polish lady I assume and the till Zimbabwean lady who has been patient and helpful towards us. It was a good experience, including the others too, thanks.I'd consider coming in the near future!I would therefore give 5 stars.Well done guys!

I would like to give my honest review based on these foods. I will put them in line;1. Rice - Rice is actually good, taste good. It is more like the Nigerian jollof rice. I mean, though Nigerian jollof rice the one that my sister and mom make is superb but in general varies who make them. Not sure about Ghana jollof rice or any rice in particular. The size of the rice is small for its cost and to call it "regular food".2. Garlic Bread - wow the garlic breads are good. Was not expecting to taste better than the Dominos version. Also good ingredients and sesamo plants, good good.3. Chips - The chips are actually good, better than the Dominos chips if you asked me.4. Chicken Grill - Wow the chicken is very delicious to the point tasting the deliciousness of the juicy bones is very exquisitely nice. The softness of the chicken with the black stripes made it much better. I really enjoyed but quite expensive though. They were not wrong when they said the chicken was delicious.5. Chicken Wings - chicken wings are very delicious. Once again better than the one of Dominos and actually need to order more of these.6. The Peach & Lemon Juice - I tried both, just normal, not too sugary. Actually it is like drinking hot tea but cold. They taste a bit like Italian Estathè, search it up what I mean.I think I will have to eat for the 2nd time with my Bulgarian friend, even though he slightly a bit racist for disliking African foods without even trying. Let's see if I can persuade him to go to Nandos. He thought Nandos was a Mexican food until I mentioned South African he showed face expression in disgust.I am pretty full and this is my 1st time ordering Nandos, I wasn't able to finish all when I initially complained that they look small each of them boxes lol. But the 2nd time am going there with my pal. The cost are quite reasonable but not for delivery. I just wanna give 4 stars because one drink was missing and the costs are quite much. I spent about £70 for myself and my sisters which they could not finish, I finished some theirs.My sisters said they enjoyed the food and tasted the rice and chicken, they're happy, I think it is now their 5th time eating Nandos. One day in the future I may visit South Africa.Well done guys *applause*

Been there for dinner on Saturday but couldn’t make it coz house full. Even few people were waiting outside. So here’s an advice, always book a table before u go there for safe hands 😬 hopefully visiting again soon

Order regularly so aware this may be a one off, but ordered a butterfly chicken meal through the deliveroo app yesterday night, the whole meal turned up cold, the chicken was half its normal portion, didn't look fully cooked as looked pale on one side. When plating the food I cut into the chicken, and found it was still pink. As my wife who is pregnant was going to be the one eating it we binned the lot. Quite shocking that that could be sent out in a delivery and lucky we checked before attempting to eat it. Ordered through deliveroo just before close and it seemed as though we'd just been delivered left overs.
