Sainsbury's in Bedford

I have been shopping at Sainsburys Clapham since it opened & I have to say how I don’t like the demise of the person on the till or the shop floor & I will never use a self service till as these are doing people out of their jobsI was there just this Wednesday & there was only one till open & at least 5 women supervising self service tills !!Get back doing your job before your made redundant it’s going to happen

Not usually too busy, easy to get to and clean. The staff are polite. For a supermarket it is a little on the small side so has a limited range of items. Downside is I get no mobile reception inside but there is free wi-fi. The shopping trollies need a pound coin to operate.

Shambolic service at tills. When they finally opened a third till on Wednesday, the staff member could not have made it clearer that she did not want to be there. Incredibly rude and unhelpful to the gentleman in a mobility scooter that was in front of me. Shameful customer service, not for the first time!

Convenient and easy, i.e. lots of parking, never too busy, pharmacist, Argos. Sainsbury's is slightly more expensive than the likes of Lidl next door but much greater variety on branded items

Don't usually shop here. Slave to Tesco and Aldi. Is there a clearance section anywhere? Like the men's shorts....maybe next time.

Just want to praise your staff. Popped into Clapham Road Bedford branch today. I just wanted to say how lovely the staff are. Security was friendly and helpful. I then went to customer service and the lady I spoke to was very friendly and helpful too. I then went to the Argos section and the girl I spoke with there was equally as lovely and helpful. I went to self serve and I had some bag issues and the lady that looked after was friendly and kind and it was no bother to come and help me. I will definitely be going back. The staff at this branch were the nicest I’ve come across in a long time in any supermarket. Anyway thanks for being so lovely peeps. Xx

I pop in here often and usually have a good experience, but this time the lady on the till was rude and not helpful at all. I had to argue my point to get the meal deal. Nothing big, but when you are called a liar, it's never nice.

This Sainsbury's has lots of child friendly trolleys very helpful if you have a toddler and baby. Also baby changing facilities are good as there is lots of room and also has a toilet for parents in it. (Lots of places don't seem to have this so parents have to use disabled toilet which I don't like doing) Lots of choice of food and foods from different cultures you can try too which is nice. Staff very friendly.

Love this shop. It's very nicely organised, clean and with a lovely atmosphere. There's pharmacy and Argos inside. Staff is absolutely brilliant, nice and polite. 5stars!

Usual fayre available, just be aware of refurbishment taking place in Feb 2022. Petrol station to be closed for 3 weeks. Entry to store is also disrupted due to roadworks on A6, controlled by traffic lights.
