A firm favourite of mine in Bedford. The Cochin offers something a little different, and it really feels as though you are on holiday as you go into the restaurant. The food is truly delicious with great vegan and veggie options - and the service is always exceptional.

Awesome place for authentic, delicious food with very good ambiance and service. Worth trying it😍

Had meal in there today with family. Can't believe I haven't been there before. Authentic and delicious southern Indian food. Blows the rest of them out of the water around that area. Definately substance over style here, compared to the rest. Amazing tasty dishes and great portion sizes. Will definately be back!

Hey Google, show me the best Indian (Kerala) Restaurant in the United Kingdom! What not to say in their review.... such a wonderful experience that we had yesterday. Great food, fantastic service and very reasonable prices. This Indian/ Kerala restaurant is a hidden gem in Bedford and Milton Keynes. Take my word ( being a Keralite and Pan Indian)..... you will not be disappointed if this restaurant continues to maintain it's consistency of service, quality and costs. Parking can be found in the nearby streets. A hidden gem....in my humble opinion, this is the best Kerala (Indian) Restaurant in the whole of the UK that I have dined in so far. If you want to ask me suggestions, Go for it!!!

Great food, that was how we imagine Indian home cooking tastes like. We will for sure visit again.

We've enjoyed takeaways from this restaurant many times: this was the first time sitting in. The service was friendly and the meal delicious: it tasted better straight from the kitchen, rather than after the delay inherent in takeaways. This would have been a 5-star review: the only blemish was the almost one hour delay between ordering and being served.

We had such a lovely meal tonight 09/08/21. The waiter, we didn't catch his name, but he was so lovely and polite and really helpful and attentive. Perfect service, great food, very reasonably priced, we would go again! Don't be put off by the poor decor and outer appearance and go inside for some great food!!

This restaurant was recommended by my girlfriends' brother as being a genuine source of Indian cuisine. I had to book the table in advance but we were the only customers when we arrived. Service was quick, the portions were generous, filling and delicious. I wanted to try a dessert but I was already way too full. Excellent value for money and refused a tip!Definitely going again when I'm next in Bedford.

Recently ordered crab curry served with lemon rice. Taste heavenly! So happy we don't have to be always in London to get a high quality of food!_________Delicious South Indian cuisine in Bedford. My favourite so far. Each dish tastes differently & delicious. Will coming back again. Highly recommended!

Don't be put off by the unassuming exterior as inside is a culinary gem with delicious flavours of Kerala. My starter was Chicken Ulatarthiyathu - lovely juicy cubes of chicken cooked in turmeric water, then stir fried with pepper powder, curry leaves and coconut slivers. The chicken was lovely and tender, there was a good amount of heat and there was the lovely taste of coconut highlighting the dish. For my main I had the Lamb & Spinach Curry. The lamb was lovely and tender - and plenty of it - in a thick complex masala sauce with a lovely hint of cashews. The Okra masala was the best I've ever tasted and the okra still had a crunch to it. The tamarind rice was lovely and a nice change and the paratha was absolutely delicious. The wines were a very reasonable price - our Chilean Merlot was only £14.95 - and we were served water without having to ask.The service was excellent, the cooking was fantastic and with the recent events in Kerala you should go and show support for such a different part of India - and I managed to park right outside.I cant wait to return and try more of the excellent food.
