The Fountain in Bedford

Staff lovely and gave excellent service.Marked down as I had half a rotisserie chicken which was really, really dry - I left nearly all of it. The ribs were also a bit dry rather than succulent. The rest of the food was fine.Didn't complain at the time as was with guests.Edited in response to comment from the owner. Not sure what you mean by 'would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around'. I'm not inclined to eat with you again and certainly not pay for the privilage.

Had a good meal . Restaurant was clean and on this occasion very quiet. Very good value as I had received a code for fifty percent off food. Waitress was extremely friendly and checked all sauces for my husband who is allergic to onions.

Arrived this morning for breakfast , met immediately and taken to a table where we hardly had to wait for service. The young lady serving us was called ‘Kay’ she couldn’t do enough for us. Constantly checking if we wanted any more coffee or toast and with a smile on her face. People were calling her from all directions but she dealt with everything efficiently and happily. Thank you Kay for making our breakfast experience enjoyable .

We had an excellent evening. We were met at the door and shown to a great table with plenty of room. Our waitress, Charlotte, was attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was tasty and great value for money. Well down to all the staff who are obviously working hard to keep standards high.

It's a harvester so you know what to expect menu wise, but this one seemed to be family run. The staff were all excellent, really friendly, welcoming, helpful and attentive. Big warm welcome when I arrived, great service and a genuine thank you and good bye from them. Would definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Always have a great time and lovely meal! Lauren is a fantastic waitress and we are also happy to be served by her!However, I have since had a bad stomach from the chicken skewers. The meat wasn't great and it has put me off eating this and other chicken dishes from here.Over all the harvester is a great place to eat

This particular harvester never fails to dissapoint!It was my daughters birthday meal out and this was her place of choice which tells u it's good!They made her feel so special and all wished her happy birthday and her dessert even came with a candle which made her night!The staff are always happy and welcomingWe love this place!

Went out for a meal at dinner time this evening. I had the dirty bird burger and my daughter had the simply pasta, we both thoroughly enjoyed, both cooked to perfection! All staff were lovely and friendly, especially our waitress Lucia who was cracking jokes and couldn’t do enough for us. Also, the young manager on shift was very helpful and provided a nice view.

It was a good experience this time overall. The food was nice and hot. We got 2 course meal - full rack of ribs and dessert each. The only thing that put me off a little at the end was that in 2 course meal, full rack of ribs doesn't come with it's side dish in that price. You have to pay £3 for the side. It has been mentioned in the menu so can't blame them but I don't expect any main with a paid side dish. Again, its my own expectation and opinion.

Amazing food , really beautiful space, very warm and friendly staff. We had breakfast today , the kids saw Santa and I am super pleased .Will definitely be back and recommend this place 100%.
