Lovely little place! Great food and dog friendly too! The only reason I'm dropping a star 🌟 is because the smokers have their ciggies right at the entrance of the establishment! Surely it'd make sense for a member of staff to ask the smokers to move away from the restaurant doors??

I stopped here on the weekend for lunch. The food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. Enough staff on hand to ensure quick service, only wait was when food was cooked. Happy to return again.

Fantastic family pub, always welcomed by the staff. Been there several times with the family. There is a lovely service. Outside in the gardens are particularly nice, on top of that you can have your dogs there

The place was crowded, not much friendly people to interact with. I applied for this place years ago and got rejected, I wasn't taken for some poor reasons.I went for an interview the 2nd time the manager seemed to be interactive, friendly and cool with me for the first time. So for anyone who wanna work there, the manager is a cool guy and the lady. Some polish people are actually nice, though women are nicer than men, some are not, some are just authoritative and commanding. But I have a hard time working along with them. Perhaps some perceptions I saw or experiences I had in the previous job that made me kinda distance from them. But I respect polish people for their immense  hardwork even though I don't like to work where majority polish people are or eastern Europeans for that matter. I had to deal with eastern Europeans when I worked in warehouse for the 2nd time so I don't wanna deal again wherever am at.Just my 3 stars

Went as a large group and had a buffet style dinner with paella, pizza, meal balls, frittata and a selection of desserts - delicious.

First time we've been there for a couple of years and the first time with the new team running it.Three of us had the traditional Sunday Roast - the pork and beef options being chosen.Portions were good, a nice selection of vegetables and the beef was cooked to order (medium rare in our case). The food was good and the service was very friendly and attentive. At £75 for 3 including some flat bread to start and drinks it was also good value. My only criticism would have been that the food could have been slightly hotter when it was served - it wasn't cold enough to send back but could have been a few degrees warmer for my liking. All in all, a good experience and we'll definately be back soon.

This is a real gem for the Clapham and Bedford community! We had a family meal here on Wednesday evening. We shared a pre-ordered paella which was full of seafood (no scrimping here!) and it was delicious. We also shared a selection of tapas items which were also fantastic. We will definitely be back again!

Lovely meal. Recommend the paella. Beautiful old pub. Nice atmosphere. Ample car parking service was very good As we arrived early for our booked table our starters we re slow to appear due to the kitchen being extremely busy. However i take this as a recommendation because so many people were there. I will definitely return.

Agatha and David's Spanish Tapas is excellent and never disappoints. If you enjoy Spanish tapas and hearty rustic food then I highly recommend you try the Horse and Groom. There was 11 for dinner of us, 8 adults and 3 children. We all had a selection of starters from the tapas menu, as usual this did not disappointed. The steamed mussels in white wine and Spanish green sauce were perfectly cooked and particularly moreish, having some hearty rustic bread to dip into the sauce just made it all the more authentic. If your a fan of seafood then this is a must. Agatha and her her staff were very attentive and accomadating ensuring we all had a pleasant experience. Each main course was excellent and could not be faulted in any way. I shared a seafood paella with my sister which was excellent, full of mussels, clams, squid and prawns. The paella rice was flavoursome, creamy and still had a slight bite to it, it also had a thin layer of toasted, slightly caramelized rice on the bottom of the pan called the socarrat which added to the flavour. 10 out of 10 to you Agatha, and your staff another excellent meal. I feel its quite rare to go out for dinner In such a large group and for every element of our meal experience not to be faulted. Can't wait to return.
