The Kings Arms in Bedford

Popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying for about 4 hours + and had an enjoyable afternoon chatting with the guvnor. Its a friendly well managed pub with great Guinness and a good selection of other beers, largers and spirits.Its the oldest pub in Bedford and would recommend a visit.

We were looking for somewhere to have a Sunday roast lunch in Bedford and we found a great place here! We regularly have a drink here but didn't even know they served food. The landlord cooks it all from scratch and it was a very generous meal for a good price. With some trad puds if you still have room! Thanks Sean and co!

I'm not a pub going person. I went to a covid delayed wake for a work friend who past in the early stages of the covid pandemic in 2020. Being an old traditional pub it's quite small as you'd expect so we managed to pretty much take over the place. Car park at the rear is tight especially for larger cars or vans. No complaints, but nothing to right home about. It's an old style British pub, exactly what you expect.

Had a roast here today, food was so nice, lots meat had to take doggy bag home, definitely go again

Great friendly local pub. Welcoming landlord and a decent beer garden out the back. often live bands on at weekends give it a go better than the usual chain of pubs which are the same in every town.
