Where do I start. The service was so slow drinks arrived in a timely manner but the starter took 40 minutes and the meal took 55 minutes to arrive keep in mind this was a Thursday evening and the restaurant was less than a quarter full. The chicken wings were burned I send them back. My friend ordered the seafood grill the fish tasted as it was off. To top it off we order wine but the server keep bringing out similar wines not the ones advertised on the menu which was highly frustrating as white wine and rose is not the same. This service needs to be vastly improved.

4 of our guests had food poisoning following the visit. Also waiters spoke little English so nodded to say a dish was gluten free when it wasn’t. Menu is incorrectly labelled with gluten free dishes which is dangerous.

1st time we went I said I would get the lobster ext time as it looked so good when others ordered it. It did not disappoint both times have been great the food is just amazing ! And I'm REALLY! fussy!. This time we had the mixed grill to share, its for two but yoy could easily split that between fourI'm just lost for words really there is one let down which is the squid starter we had it both times and was over cooked both times really hard to eat which is a shame because that butter sauce it comes in is SO ! DELICIOUS.

Visited on Saturday with our friends. One of few places that was opened at 3PM. We had a very good cod curry, lamb chops and fish/chips. All was very tasty and served in nice way. Good service. Will visit again.

Food is 10/10.... Best seafood restaurant I have eaten at in the UK.... however service was lacking. No check back, had to find staff and ask for more drinks, had to ask for dessert menu... which resulted in us being there 3.5 hours for meal (they then turned the lights off on us!!!)But as I said best food you will have....

I went to Quay this evening with a friend as I have not tried oysters and some of the other unique seafood before that is on the menu. The table was booked well in advance and the anticipation was at an all time high.I am giving this place two stars and breaking it down for everyone to explain it all accurately.1. The restaurant itself is small and the tables are too close to each other preventing the kind of privacy that people would like in such a setting.2. We were given an hour and a half at the table and we did not even have enough time to order a dessert. They did not tell us this until we were sat at the table which I consider misleading advertising as they should have told us when we booked it on the phone.3. The guys who took the orders and brought the food over could hardly speak or understand English.4. They charged nearly £4 pounds for a small bottle of coca cola in a small glass.5. I ordered the seafood platter and I will admit it was very nice and very filling.6. They tried to hit us with a seven pound service charge which I believe is them taking a liberty when you consider the points I made above. Thankfully I requested the removal of the service charge.I give this place two stars for the novelty of the tasty seafood but frankly I would not return to this establishment and neither would I recommend it to family and friends.

Waited 40 minutes to place our order.. then an hour for the food to come.I had a sirloin steak but it was the fattiest steak I've had.. more fat on it than I've ever had with a rump... I paid for extra halumi which was cold.. and the dijon and garlic steak sauce barely tasted of anything. The cookie dough desert was good. But another from our party had a fresh fruit and sorbet... but that fruit consisted of frozen strawberries.Lovely pretty place.. but terribly slow service and food that all our bunch said we won't be going back for.

We chose this restaurant for our anniversary celebration and it was a great choice! A very nicely decorated place with great food. I highly recommend cauliflower in sweet-chilli sauce and seafood. Very professional and friendly service. Thank you for an amazing evening.
