VesuviO Restaurant & Bar in Bedford

A lovely family celebration meal. The food was good quality.. And they catered for a baby in a high chair. Plus a 4 year old. The service was excellent.

Had my birthday dinner and it was fantastic! Very pleased with service! polite and positive staff, friendly and calm environment. Food was amazing! Couldn't be any better. Desserts were delicious.

Have always heard good things about Vesuvio’s and they didn’t disappoint. Very tasty food, served piping hot and in good time. Quick service and well presented venue. A great place to visit with a group or as a couple. Reasonable prices too!

Extremely poor service and average food. It took around half an hour after taking our drinks order to take our food order after having to ask. Starters came promptly but lacking in flavour. Ordered sides with mains which didn't turn up after asking multiple times. Ordered deserts finally after asking a number of times and two failed to turn up, by the time we got somebodies attention others had already finished eating. Had to ask multiple times for tea spoons for children to eat ice cream. There didn't seem to be anybody running the restaurant, just various people running around getting things wrong. If it was busy maybe I could understand. What a shambles!

Went to meet some friends I hadn't seen seen the start of lockdown. Vesuvio is always our choice to meet up. We all enjoy the food...not this time. Had meatball starter. No taste. Cold and was in a sauce that resembled watered down tomato soup. The ravioli main was over priced for the amount I was given. The food was a complete overpriced. Was only served drinks once . The only thing I enjoyed apart from the company was the deserts.That was yummy. Will not be returning in a hurry. Definitely gone down hill.

Friendly and professional staff, great food!Plenty of room in a nice setting. Italian food, well prepared. The seafood risotto was great. We had a very pleasant dining experience for four adults, staff, food and drinks all above expectations. Highly recommend for a relaxed night out in comfortable surroundings.

Free parking. The restaurant is large and family friendly. The serving staff are quick and efficient and orders are executed in record time. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Good wines and cocktails available. A very pleasant experience.

Went with a friend Sunday lunchtime. Food was very presented beautifully, both meals very tasty.Service was just right attentive but not to overbearing. Lovely staff all so friendly & polite.Definitely go again.

Fish Night at Vesuvios on a Wednesday is great value for money and a great night out you just have to make sure you don't over do it with the wine. Mostly for the guys with football on in the background. I time to catch up with with friends and work colleagues.
