Wow went as a group . The bar staff were very helpful and knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble. My first pint I wasn’t particularly enjoying they asked what the problem was and replaced it. We all had a very enjoyable meal at reasonable prices . Service was very good thank you

Great food, great beer and exceptional service! Our little girl is very shy and she was happy to sit and have a chat with the landlord. Very welcoming and lovely old pub, will 100% return

Great service met with a polite person who showed us to our table 😀 now booked for Sunday lunch 😀

2nd attempt to book a dog friendly table, well worth the wait.My husband, myself & our dog had a pleasant visit for Sunday lunch, we both had turkey & ordered a side of cauliflower cheese (had we known portions, would not have ordered as we had more than enough). The table we were given was a bit awkward, as wherever our dog settled she was in the way (as it was door to garden, and quite a tight space).Would not hesitate in returning, as best Sunday lunch I've eaten out for a long long time, everything cooked to perfection, tasty, great sized portions, but make sure your hungry, I was soooo full.Great lunch thanks to all who contributed.

Lovely old building sat next to a river, plenty of parking. Went for an afternoon tea that was a gift for my birthday. Staff were super friendly and the food/cakes were fantastic. Left felling very happy.

The food in non-poncy high end pub grub. Portions are generous and the food is beautifully cooked. Price is very reasonable and customer service & ambience was pleasant. Would have liked to have seen and eaten in the beer garden on the side of the river, but it was February. We intend to return.

Absolute Gem! What a wonderful country pub in such a beautiful village. After returning from a very special holiday, we wanted to end on a high and head out for Sunday lunch. We decided to try somewhere new and we're so glad we did!Food was absolutely lush, we even ordered a dessert despite not really having room but it was all so delicious. Lovely staff, really welcoming and polite. Clean and COVID sercue with hand sanitiser located at suitable points, and face coverings still being worn by staff.Best of all, dog friendly and with their very own dog bar! All water of cause but love the rebranding of beers. Our pooch really enjoyed her Pawroni ha ha.Looking forward to returning one day.

Had the most lovely afternoon tea this afternoon! Our first time visiting and we will definitely be back. The selection was brilliant considering I’m a fussy eater, everything tasted fresh and the scones were amazing (I’m from Cornwall, we know our Cream Teas, so trust me on this!). The service was amazing, our servers were very attentive, helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we were happy - a credit to the establishment! This made for the perfect belated Father’s Day gift, and we are definitely going to come back! Thank you so much for the experience and yummy food!
