First of all, the staff are really nice so it's a shame that the food is not the same. They have on the menu something which they call a Caesar salad which is so far away from a real Caesar salad. They simply have no idea how to serve the constituent parts to make a'proper' Caesar salad. I've had Caesar salads in several good restaurants and it was SO much better than Bills'. I won't waste my money again.

We are partial to a Bill's. Love the kids menu and a burger. Had a fabulous experience today in Braintree at Bill's as our waitress was very accommodating and made our experience even more lovely. We were given a booth towards the back of the restaurant (brilliant as I can trap my toddler in) and it's out of the way from other diners so we don't have to feel guilty if our 3 year old is a little loud. We were so well looked after today and even though we usually visit bills when enjoying a day out in Braintree, we will continue to.

Lovely place, staff very helpful, reasonable food, bit pricey, the cheesecake flower pot was great

Came here today, the steak we had was absolutely lovely, chips very good too. We had the chicken and sesame dumplings which we didn’t enjoy too much. It’s quite pricey for the little you get. However i was pleased to see the NHS discount they put in place which helped with the bill. The waitress we had was lovely, she was polite and helpful

Been here twice now in the last month for vreakfast and I personally think its the best restaraunt in the area. The food has always been faultless and well presented, staff are friendly and it seems to have such a relaxed atmosphere. The portion sizes arn't huge but are still ample leaving you full.PS- Try the Golden Latté- Not convinced its actually a coffee but very tasty.

First time at a Bill's, we turned up as a party of 11 with no reservation and were all looked after exceptionally well by the waitress Emma who really went above and beyond to ensure every one of us had a good experience, absolutely faultless. The food was great and came out fairly quick despite the huge order!

A busy well staffed restaurant with lots of character, excellent for all sorts of visitors including family's with small children. After a short walk from a main car park we arrived for breakfast without pre booking which wasn't a problem and we were shown to a table straight away.We had orders of the traditional breakfast which tasted amazing and our family had pancakes that looked and smelled fantastic. The waiting staff were attentive meeting all our needs including top ups of water for those that required it.The bill when asked for included a 5% service charge (tip) so it didn't go directly to those that served us. My daughter also mentioned that if you are on a tight budget when paying you can ask to pay the 'sub total' if you don't wish to leave a tip or were disappointed with service, on all a very clean, well staffed restaurant.

Lovely food, nice ambience. Not too loud, but a background noise so you could have a normal conversation without feeling like you should whisper. Staff were very friendly and attentive, until it came to asking for the bill, where it took a few minutes to grab the attention of a waiter, but that was the only minor gripe of the whole experience. I recommend the tropical juice too. I could have had a barrel of that stuff!

We visited here for a quick bite during a shopping trip. Lovely setting and nice atmosphere. The food although I didn't order alot was extremely nice. I would definitely go back again.

Good, pleasant and attentive service, best for a meal before of after shopping in the village. The salted caramel tart with coconut ice cream was lovely. It has a trendy industrial warm ambience indoors and relaxing outdoor dining spaces.
