Good for a quick lunch and dinner. Not expensive and good service. Well done

The lady who served us when we visited today was so helpful. We were seated quickly. Very friendly. We both had a mixed grill but my steak was not medium rare it was blue. I hate asking for things to be changed but I did ask for it to be cooked more. It came back out but was still so rare I couldn’t eat it. Toilets were a bit dirty to. It’s a friendly place to eat and food is on the expensive side for what it is. Not sure I’ll be going back soon but I thought the lady who served us was lovely.

Apart from the mens toilet being out of order after being broken by total thugs Saturday night unbeknown to staff. The place was great, all staff very very helpful. And the food has greatly improved since the last time I was there but that obviously was a few years back. Well done everyone on the improvements.

Having eaten here on a regular basis with no real complaints I was very disappointed with the last visit. We went for the Sunday carvery and found it has really gone down hill.My husband ordered beef and the server complained that everyone was ordering the beef. I chose turkey. The server started on the second breast and gave me three slices. The first was the size of a 50p piece and so thin you could see through it. The second and third were only slightly larger. In all it amounted to one slice in any other establishment. The veg was very undercooked and not at all appetising. We will be going elsewhere in future.

Decided to take Mum here last Saturday for a Mother’s Day meal. The staff especially the manager were very friendly and attentive. The food was spot on, hot and cooked perfectly. Good atmosphere and clean facilities. I had a vegan meal which was on the set menu and mum had the fish pie which she said was very generous with the amount you got. All in all a very pleasant experience and recommended.

Decent enough Brewers Fayre. It wasn't too busy on our visit. Excellent soft play area (needs to be booked in advance) for the children. Food good. Service fine.

Staff are lovely, music not too loud. I ordered the vegan burger, "Garden Gourmet" it said "Sensational(TM)"; "..topped with a melting vegan cheesy slice". I paid for it and upgraded to sweet potato chips (99p extra) only to be told they had no vegan cheese and did I want something else. I said I'd have it as it was but you'd think they'd have given me some money off or given me my upgraded chips for free. Nope. Turns out it wasn't very nice. Perhaps if you like meat but are trying to cut down, it might taste ok. For me it was just too damn' meaty.

Warm, clean pub / restaurant. Friendly staff and tasty food. New addition of sandwiches to the menu - Club or Fish Finger - an excellent idea but there needs to be a vegetarian/ vegan option. On this visit we stopped for a snack only. The broccoli soup was delicious and the bread tasty.

Best value restaurant anywhere. Superb range of dishes and a great bonus scheme. The building might be getting a little tired although I guess redecoration is on the cards. Otherwise top marks. Staff are nice and friendly too.

This is a mixed review. On the positive they found us a table without a booking and it looked quite busy. The food was filling and really tasty. The staff polite and the place was clean and spaced out. On the negative side the smoke from those smoking outside drifted in and was off putting. Then there was the lack of everything. You could have a specific meal but it might be missing bits or swapped for a substitute. For instance no bacon. 3 small Yorkshire's instead of the advertised large single one. The unlimited drinks only offered the coke option. When people booked a meal you could hear staff explaining the many changes, they must have had a hard time remembering it all! But otherwise it was fine. As the food was nice, (pub food) I'd go again, but would now know what to expect. You have been warned.
