Chicken Delight in Braintree

completely understand a Saturday night is busy! but when I've ordered & 2 hours later it still hasn't turned up. that's a joke.All my food turned up cold chips and pizza were soggy.it's disappointing as usually we couldn't recommend chicken delight enough.

Over an hour and 45 min for 2 chicken burger meals when phone to ask where delivery was kept telling me two mins and when I questioned about my food being cold I got told don't worry its fine

Ordered online , order arrived on time. Burgers were lovely however the large chips were cold and soggy. Not a pleasant experience especially as this was my last takeaway before starting a healthy food regime. Disappointed.

Wings are finally back to their best.

Ordered arrived with a wrap missing. Called and told we would receive an immediate refund. Fifteen minutes later the delivery driver returned with not only the refund but the chicken wrap too! Great food and great service. Thank you!

Second week on a wednesday they have taken well over an hour to deliver with a phone call being made chips were limp and the lettuce was brown and old used to be our favourite place to order but never again!

First time visit to this renowned local take away. Very friendly, warm welcome from Ali. Roast potatoes brought back happy memories of home cooked meals as a child. The chicken was, as their name says, a delight. Fresh, hot, tasty and moist, perfectly cooked. Will happily come again.

A generic fast food takeaway in a good location. It does delivery and is open late. It sits within the loitering area after a night out in Braintree.It has a reputation as one of the more 'iconic' fast food joints in Braintree, named by the locals as Chicken D.If you end up here hungry after a night in Braintree - the cheesy chips are recommended.

Definitely the best chicken shop in town. Excellent customer service and great food. The pizza is very good also
