I had a stomach ache after eating the food and they cooked it with mushrooms after I told them I didn't want mushrooms! I said I was a vegetarian, but they still gave me prawn crackers!

Not impressed been a regular customer for the last twelve years plus orded a meal at. 5-20 on Christmas eve thay said it was busy it was first come first served it arrived at 09_oo 3hrs 40 minutes later the delivery driver apologise for the delay and said we should never have had to wait that long will now be going back to our old one where we now the order will not keep being put back

Waited close to an hour and a half. Food did not arrive. THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION FROM RESTAURANT.Called them and was told, "Order still in the Kitchen, should be ready in 20 minutes". 20 minutes plus their delivery time!!!!!!! Not on. Cancelled order. Total waste of time. Completely unreliable. Never again.

Been ordering food from here for a few years now and it’s always been superb, I tend to stick with a few of the same dishes and periodically try something different, decided to opt for the Cantonese style sweet and sour pork tonight and it was so good I wished I had ordered more, highly recommend this restaurant for its tasty food.

Ordered at 5pm on a Friday food was delivered 5 30pm it was piping hot. All the dishes were cooked very well no soggy batter on the prawns.. the beef was tasty and not chewy and the spare ribs were great and not dry or tough and plenty of them in the portion. Set meal for two G was well balanced and great quality.. spent extra £10 on extras £32 total. Well happy thank you

This was taken over by new owners on march 1st. The food is amazing . Not greasy at all and very quick delivery. Friendly staff. Its no longer China village. It's the hot wok. Staff are very helpful . Definitely recommend it

ordered food at 18:45, its now 21:00 and still no food. i dont care how busy you are if you cant deliver 4 dishes in 2 hours you are in the wrong profession, absolutely shocking. called to complain and the woman on the phone had no idea when my food would even leave the restaurant. i only wish i could give it a lower rating.

Ordered a take away for two, so not a huge order. Told it would be 100 minutes, wow. After 2 hours nothing, as it was my birthday meal we rang and they had taken too many orders but blamed deliveroo. Then we were told the food would be another 30 mins so it wasn't even ready for deliveroo and we had no idea if it would arrive by 9-9.30 from 6.30 so cancelled, cheeky blighters then said it would take at least 24 hours to get a refund. So not only do we get no foo. No apology or this rectified or even tried they steal our money too as we had to pay upfront!!!! NEVER EVER would we use these and tell all our friends, shocking treatment. IF you have too many calls you tell customers how long truthfully it will take and STOP taking orders you cannot complete, it's quite simple. Our money better be refunded by tomorrow!! ,

Placed a £79 order for delivery this evening, September 14th at 19:05. We were informed it would be with us at 20:05. At 20:05 I was informed it was en route by the useful Just Eat app. 30 minutes later our food had not arrived and we called the shop to find it, the staff initially lost our order and then did not know where the driver was or how long it would be, simply telling us they were busy. The staff told us they would call the driver and then call us back, they did not. 50 minutes after it should have been delivered we called again, the staff chose to ignore us on the phone and speak what we can only presume was Chinese amongst themselves on the phone, rather than answering our questions. Whilst on the phone the driver eventually showed up we informed her that the management had given us £30 off the order. The driver tried to tell us she had only had the food for 10 minutes and proceeded to tell us to choke on it 😂 10/10 for customer service, loving the cold food and will definitely not order from there again.
