The cosy tea room you need on a windy winter day

Lovely little tea room. The only disappointment I've had recently is when ordering 2 tuna melt ciabatta I asked if I could have a bit of onion in each and I was charged an extra £2.40 (£1.20 each). I don't know how that can be justified. I was shocked.

This is an attractive tea shop set in the pretty village of Great Bardfield. On arrival I was given a warm and friendly welcome. I was offered a seat as this is a table service cafe. The menu had a sensible number of options. I ordered a cheese scone, cake and coffee, see photo. The coffee was good, the scone was exceptional, and the coffee was also good. The prices were reasonable for what I had. Not only am I happy to return but I am looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended.
