Eatons in Braintree

Awful service, food ok. Two of us finished our food before the third arrived. Waitresses happily left dirty plates. Requested sauces and we were ignored. Will not be returning

I went there last Sunday, and it was not busy. The cake and scone were lovely. The staffs were so sweet and welcoming.

My daughter and i went there today and the lunch was excellent. I would recommend this eating house to anyone. Definitely 5 stars. The staff were lovely.

Always chose Eatons for cooked breakfast and couldn't fault them previously, on our recent visit staff plesant however food very poor, baguettes were dry, barely any filling within, didn't even mix the mayo and ketchup up properly to produce what they call seafood sauce.Salad tiny amount of iceberg and 1/4 tomatoe.Wife had the Brie and bacon ,bacon full of fat and barely a scrapping of cranberry sauce, they than gave her prawn cocktail crisps, not plain!!Noticed salad in a nearby fridge was 2 days out of date..Health and Safety RISK!

Nice spot with pleasant outdoor terrace, but incredibly slow service (40 mins for two sandwiches and a packet of crisps). Smallest sandwich I’ve ever seen - 2 tiny pieces of sliced bread cut into quarters. £18 for two small sandwiches, 3 drinks and a packet of crisps. Won’t be back.

Went there for a lovely morning meal but was disappointed to say the least with the service and food! Took roughly an hour for the food to actually come out and when it did half of it was raw. The sausages were still pink and the eggs were hard!

Great place in centre of Braintree for lunch, afternoon tea or breakfast food. I also heard people ordering waffles and they looked good. Staff was lovely

Really nice food and lovely atmosphere and staff. Despite being rushed off their feet the 2 guys were on top of everything and still kept a smile on theirs and the customers faces. Will be coming back

Delightful coffee shop serving a range of hot drinks, cakes and light lunches. Lovely sunny outdoor eating area to comply with current Covid regulations. Service swift, eggs royale delicious - perfectly cooked eggs. My only gripe is having to share my dining area with smokers which rather spoilt the otherwise delightful ambiance.

Best pancakes ever!!This is a great little cafe in Braintree town, with a varied menu and friendly staff. The pancakes are amazing and I would definitely recommend them! We have had some lovely meals in here, and the staff are all very nice and friendly
