Decided to have Indian Takeaway and gave Indian Cottage a go for first time. Would have given 5 stars but for the fact we were missing a side dish. We weren’t disappointed with the food we got though it was absolutely delicious, was ready on time and staff super friendly. Will definitely use again.

Food is fantastic but is outdone by the service A real quaint village Indian restaurant. Well worth a visit. Clean and friendly, nice portion size’s.. no complaints

·

Excellent food , had to wait a while, short staffed I guess.

·

Food was good but they got the bill wrong! Will give them the benefit of the doubt but will certainly double check if we go back!

·

Excellent food and great service.

was somewhat apprehensive about visiting this restaurant after reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. I've spent many years in India and Bangladesh and can honestly say the food here was every bit as good as I've become accustomed to on the Sub Continent. The food was tasty and plentiful, if anything there was too much! Service always with a smile and never rushed. My guess is the chef is from Bangladesh as most are in the UK, his food is excellent.Hygiene was first class everything 'sparkley' clean. Two covers of 2/3 courses totalling less than £40 including drinks and coffee, you cannot complain.Looking forward to my next visit.Well done Indian Cottage👍🇧🇩🇮🇳

tried this place last week and to be honest i cant see how some previous reviews didn't think the people were friendly. food was excellent and the narga spot on but to hear northern soul playing in the back ground was very refreshing indeed if you want to try something different or a change of your usual place try here brilliant

Not greatly impressed. Soft flexible poppadoms were not a good start, and had to go back. Overall, food was acceptable but not great.

We ordered take-aways; lamb curry and lamb vindaloo with pilau rice. It was absolutely delicious! We will be returning. The lamb vindaloo is wonderfully hot and spicey (at other places you ask for a HOT curry and you get a mild, this was HOT and AMAZING). Large portion sizes, friendly and helpful service, very affordable and if I could, I’d use every delectable adjective to describe their food.
