Little Elms in Braintree

I have never left a negative review before ,I felt I had too after our meal at this restaurant tonight .We have been a few times now and each time had issues , small ones that we’ve over looked . We eat out a lot with different groups of friends and family but never felt the need to complain .On this occasion we were celebrating my husbands birthday with family ,so thought as there was 9 of us we d go early so not so busy . We waited nearly two hours for our main and was told ,when we asked other tables were being served ,before us because we had starters , the waiter apologised over five times for the delay but never once offered us a drink or anything while we waited . It was expensive , the food wasn’t the best and service extremely poor .Deffinatly wouldn’t be recommending or going back .

Love the selection of food here! I came here with my family for a night out and get this, if you don’t like your dish you can choose another one free of charge! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and will definitely be going back.

Hayley was our waitress and she was fantastic. Food was so tasty and plenty of it. Will definately return.

Went to lunch yesterday and it was fautless from food to service. There were 6 of us and the selection of meals we all had were 100%. The waiter and waitress were very helpful funny and made us all feel very comfortable. I do reccomend Mosaic for anyone who wants good food, a pleasant enviroment and genuine staff.

This is the first time I have ever left a negative review, but I think it is justified. Firstly I would like to point out that our waitress was lovely, (unfortunately I did not catch her name) so this has no reflect on her.The wait time was ridiculous. We had a big party of 17 people, but over an hour sitting waiting for starters was just a joke. We arrived at 7pm and ended up leaving at 10:30pm. We didn’t eat our main meal until around 9:40pm. as for the food, Overpriced and very bland. I was very underwhelmed. Also if your going there with a big group, check your bill. You will be charged for drinks, especially doubles when you didn’t ask for them. Do not recommend. Will not dine there again.

Delicious cocktails, very nice food and amazing service. Our particular waiter was funny, helpful and so polite. Really had a lovely time

Order a takeaway last night wasn't overly impressed with it...for nearly £50 portions were very small plus the lamb chops were not cooked properly...such a shame I've eaten at mosiac many times and always been impressed with the food and ordered many takeaways but this time very disappointed 😞 I understand new years eve you were probably very busy but that's not an excuse...

Lively and vibrant place. Food is very good and there is plenty of it. Staff are friendly and efficient. You will not leave here still hungry. Booking is advisable as it was extremely busy when we went on Saturday night. My only criticism would be serving of courses need to be spaced out a bit to let all the food go down. But saying that we would all definitely return to try some other dishes out.

Wonderful atmosphere. Really great staff,friendly and helpful. Fantastic food.A must visit.
