Mandarin House Chinese Take Away in Braintree

Delicious Chinese food with great portion sizes.best pancake roll and spare ribs. From here the food is always hot and fresh and the lady to collect from is always friendly.

This is my go to Chinese place. I've ordered from here. All being extremely tasty and always satisfied.

Disgusting food and customer service - DO NOT ORDER!We only ordered from here as our usual chinese is shut on mondays! Worst mistake ever. We spent £50 on our families order, the food arrived and was all completely tasteless, duck had no flavour, ribs were awful, sweet and sour sauce was a strange colour and watery, chips like cardboard (pictures attached). I rang the following day as soon as they opened to resolve the issue (i did not eat the food) and the owner was EXTREMELY rude and just laughing down the phone at me telling me it's funny and did not offer to resolve in any way.

Never ordering from this place ever again, spent almost £40. The chicken curry my partner had was slimey and tasted of bleach.The crispy chilli beef looked awful and the chow mein was tasteless!How this place is still running, i do not know? Maybe, they should have a inspection. My partner was ill the next day, as i never had the chicken curry... worse place ever!When we did call back to complain, all we got was "Our chicken curry is made fresh every day, thank you for letting us know".... and hung up!Defiantly, not made fresh everyday!

Ordered a takeaway which cost £32 and the chicken curry was so rancid that my partner and I have been throwing up since!! It was unlike any texture I have ever had from chicken and it was slimy and tasted strange.We have been sick several times I will never go to this place again I am disgusted!

Fast and friendly with delicious food.Prices were fair and portions were large. Highly advise going there for every meal of the day. The spare rib are amazing. Crispy duck is always a great portion and hoisin sauce sublime.

Sadly first and last time. food was not warm beef in Black been was so chewy. Whole experiance lacked customer care from phone call to place order to collection. Portions small. Sadly Braintree seems lacking a decent chinese.

Order somewhere else!Sent us the wrong sauce [ordered sweet & sour, they sent something else]. When we polightly rang up they laughed at us down the phone and refused to correct their mistake. Very poor customer service!Noodles were very tasteless dry same with the vegetables.We won't be ordering from Mandarin House again.

Absolutely terrible. Was given the wrong soup then found hair in the ribs and prawn crackers. Phoned up and told them. The only response I could get was "I don't know".Well I know I won't use them ever again! What a great first order!
