Merchant Spice in Braintree

For the first time I was really disappointed with my delivery. I placed an order which should have been delivered at 8:06pm. At 8:40 I rang to find out where it was. Suddenly I was told he was coming straight away. Almost another 15 minutes it arrived. Some of it was lukewarm. Really disappointed with the service. Previous orders have been delivered perfectly. Hopefully it was a one off tonight.

Nice restaurant with a modern feel, food was lovely and staff charming and attentive, couldn't ask for more.

Food was amazing, chicken literally fell apart it was soft and tender. Amazing naans. Food was fresh, will definitely be ordering again

We ordered for our 1st time last time. 100% will order again. Really lovely tasting meal that left us feeling great afterwards. We’ve tried a few in braintree, others have left us feeling a bit yuck 🤮 Can’t wait for next Saturday to order our take out again:

After coming here over 2 years ago i was dubious to come again, but i have to say that the staff and meal were absolutely fantastic and we absolutely adores the flower walp that they noe present in their restaurant, well done Merchant Spice

Beautiful foid so tasty and fresh , lovely to try some different dishes away from the normal Indian takeaways and restaurants, will definately be visiting again when in Braintree. Lovely service by very friendly and helpful staff. Spotlessly clean

Really nice meal. Great value buffet (Wednesday nights). Choose from the menu, £15 a head for a starter, main, side, rice or nann. Great food and service.

Amazing Indian nothing like it for miles. Great food and great prices. Nice to still find passion for food at this gem, I’m coming back for the theme night.

Love the food, menu is very informative of ingredients, heat, allergies and spice I give it a 5/5 just for the menu. The food was awesome and service fantastic. The restaurant is very clean and the interior is lovely, service is very attentive and helpful when ordering. They also have a takeaway service with delivery. I'm definitely going back for more.😀😁🍽
