This used to be our favourite Chinese take away until today. It seams that they have an issue with ordering. A couple of weeks ago I ordered Chinese from the menu that posted on their Facebook page. However when the food turned up some of the items were missing and some were not what was order. Phone up to speak to the manager to which he informed me that it was my fault that I ordered off the dine in menu and should have looked at the menu on the website after repeatedly saying that the website was down so the only option was to look at the Facebook menu apparently I was wrong to do that. Anyway 15 mins later missing meal was replaced. Today completely my order was take money paid in full. Told expect food in about an hour (pretty standard) on receiving the food noticed that part of my order was missing (pretty unsurprised ) also playing up the food noticed that it was cold. Phone up and explained that again they have ruined another dinner. I sent back all of the food that was in tact and bitten food I binned (wish I boxed it all up) told them I wanted a full refund and that the driver can pick up the food. On arrival the driver spoke to the “manager” which offered a £25 refund out of £50. Two tubs were missing due to binning the food because it was cold. Everything captured on CCTV at home the driver gave £40 as he clearly was embarrassed by the situation.LAST STRAW WITH THIS TAKEAWAY. What a shame considering we were regular customers and used to enjoy their food. How a place can go down hill so fast.

Great food especially if your looking for a fancy Asian-style restaurant

I've just ordered a takeaway from here paid £31 for food that was cold and descuscting very disappointing (the worst Chinese in braintree by far)

Very nice food indeed, hot and appeared to be fresh (no tripple cooked chicken balls here) Cost of the food is going up in general but other than that can’t fault it.

Professional servise and very tasty dishes. You can eat a lot and inexpensively. I would definitely recommend.

Well it was astonishing that eat as much as you can, could taste so good, utterly enjoyed it and it was so delicious, if only I could eat more, but once you reach that limit, there is no more space. However I would recommend this to anyone alone or with a group, as it was well clean and tidy and the staff where very polite. Deserves a five star in my mind. Thank you Eastern Aroma.
