Had no idea this little gem of a place was hiding away so close to Witham. The staff were wonderfully friendly, they couldn't have been any more welcoming or helpful. I brought my one year old puppy who was a bit excited but they welcomed us warmly, gave her a little chew and some water! The Menu was lovely, all meals that were served across the cafe looked delicious, from the breakfast to the posh pies and the spaghetti. Something or everyone. The presentation of the meals were lovely and the portion sizes were more than adequate! Delicious hot food.. honestly, can't wait to return.

1st time we visited. Very pleasant girls who served us. Had coffee and cake. Thought my flapjack was too sweet and too larger portion, tookhalf of it home. So wasn't that bad.

We booked this place in advance for an Xmas get together with my family - 11 in total. Really great customer service, food good, lovely staff. Dog friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Will be back thank you all.

Down a narrow road in the Essex country side you will find the Pear Tree Pantry. We just followed the sign!! In a unassuming road side farm building, the staff at Pear Tree Pantry put together some real delights. Our visit on Friday lunchtime saw a pretty full dining room and more folk at tables outside. Being Friday there was a special fish menu with at least 6 fishy options as well as the regular varied menu. A beer, glass of vino or anything you want to drink is available. Then of course deserts, cakes and ice cream.Really something for everyone here.( We hear breakfasts and Sunday lunch are a bit special too, so will have to come back and find out! 😊👍😋This is a place once found will not be forgotten.

Really friendly Tea room. Covered in runners and cyclists. They have bike pumps and water taps. Great sausage rolls, cakes and then a food menu with local sea food and lots of other great stuff. Definitely worth a visit.Revised now lockdown allows us to sit down. Had a full English with the wife which was lovely. Yet again very friendly and helpful.

Lovely off the beaten track pantry which was serving breakfast when we cycled past. Good facilities outside for all, covid safe and table service. Staff very friendly and racks for many many cyclists.... good food and not very expensive.... would visit again.

Wonderful dog friendly cafe, friendly staff and place is impeccably clean with all the appropriate covid precautions in place! At the moment at the end of the road it says the road ahead is closed but the cafe is still accessible and open!! My mum has food allergies and also on a Keto diet and they were more than happy to adapt the menu. Will be visiting again!

A visit after a full refurb and change of ownership - A really lovely, tranquil little tea room with lots of character. Decor is beautiful - country kitchen chic, but still with that cosy homely feel. There's even a log burner with some sofas and magazines nearby. A lovely place to "get away from it all"All the hot food and cakes are home made - and it really makes the difference. So tasty. I had soup to start, a salmon + cream cheese sandwich, then a lovely almond and cherry slice to finish. My parents had a lasagne/chicken and leek pie. All lovely. The best bit: The staff! So friendly, attentive and really go out of the way to help you.Would definitely recommend, and I'll be back. :)
