As a wheelchair user the restaurant was really accommodating making sure I was at a table that I felt suited my needs. All the staff were helpful and friendly plus food was absolutely lovely. Looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend.

As expected, average food for a reasonable price.Nice clean restaurant and prompt service. However every member of staff in here is miserable, I felt like they were doing me a favour by serving me!Owing to this I didn't leave a tip which was promptly met with sarcasm

Love the homely friendly atmosphere.. a very nice Polish girl Joanna looked after me as I was feeling unwell. She was so very kind.. despite being busy at serving tables ,she checked on me often to make sure I was OK.

It took a while for the food to arrive as the restaurant was busy during the weekend lunch time. But the quality of food is good. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Joined two friends for a pizza on Christmas eve. It had been a number of years since we last visited Pizza Express and it was still good. Dough balls were delicious and my mushroom pizza was superb and it was not an issue to change the base from bechemel to tomato. The young lad serving us was fantastic. I just only wish I had asked his name for a special mention. We will definitely return when we are next in the area.

Ok so not a particularly good experience for me. Very little on the menu which appealed, and so I chose a pizza, where the topping was not good, and slid away from a soggy base. And not a chip on the menu. The lager was nice, although this was out of a bottle, so I guess it was Peroni which was good here. I found the food bland and overpriced, with a lot of things not available from the menu. The service was ok though.

Visited here this evening with family, £15 for average pizza, my wifes came out like a ring pizza with centre missing, was not big enough to accommodate her petite appetite, £7 for a large beer which is disgusting.Staff pleasant enough but clearly do not want to be their from their demeanour .£24 for a house Red ....Wow!Avoid sadly

Incredibly rude customer service. Especially waitress Maria. We were waiting at the front door to be seated for a long time when we finally sat down ourselves as no waiter or waitress came in contact with us, although they all saw us waiting, a waitress came up and very rudely asked us to move, stating that we should’ve “waited at the door”. When we ordered we were also not asked about our dietary requirements or allergies, which in this day and age is very unacceptable. After we ordered we were waiting over an hour for our food, even though many others who sat down after us were served way before us. After we finished we asked for the bill, the waitress gave us the bill and we let her know that we were paying by card, once again she very rudely turned her back to us and stated “let me finish cleaning the table”. Working in customer service for many years, I know that a customer should always come first, however according to Miss Maria, cleaning a table is a priority which comes before customers. I understand food might take a while or that being seated may take longer due to being understaffed, but at no point we’re we apologised to for the wait, but instead we were treated as an inconvenience and spoken to as if were were dogs. Nothing about this place was express and if it was down to me I would never allow such rude waitress to work in customer service. I have never experienced such rudeness. I strongly do not recommend eating here.
