Royal Cafe in Braintree

Nice location inside the central station of Antwerp, beautifull architecture like in the rest of the station, but the place seems to attract trashy people. Might be because it is located near a train station.

Nice cafe to chill if u have time before or after your train ride

We grabbed quick English breakfast, before we catch our train to brugge. Fast convenient and easy meal, great server and great customer service.. loved the decor and ambience.. and peppermints tea was great of choice!

Good location and Beautiful restaurant. Staff not very welcome however it is a nice place to grab a drink or bite while waiting at the station.

Products and services do not meet the price charged and the nice location. We ordered breakfast and the bread was partially frozen and the croissant was dry. We didn't even get a glass of water.

Incredibly beautiful place at central station.Seriously, this is one of the best looking coffee bars ever.Unfortunately, when it comes down to the service, you can see that it is not modern at all. They did not have oat milk nor soya milk. For a popular coffee bar this is not acceptable.The other big remark I have is the toilet fee, 50 cents to go pee in a coffee bar... That is just shamelessly ripping people off.Too bad that a toilet experience is ending up in a bad review, think about that.

Finaly a nice grand cafè☕️ nice space and staff is friendly. Coffee was not really for our taste but that’s personal. Ambience is more local seniors. Seats around the walls are quite used...

We recently connected trains at Antwerpen Centraal Station and stopped for coffee at Le Royal Cafe on the upper floor opposite platforms 1 and 2. Opening hours are 8am to 8pm daily.Here you find a large open cafe with beautiful architectural features, including a high ceiling, decorative wall panels and large scale mirrors, columned entryways adorned with gliding and marble flooring. Its a beautiful cafe and suitable extension to the remarkable architecture on display at Antwerpen Centraal Station.Coffee taken at Le Royal Cafe were ok, nothing to excite nor disappoint - it is just coffee. We were primarily visiting for the atmosphere and that alone is enough to pay visit to this rail station cafe.
