Sugongha in Braintree

Tried for the first time, really impressed, all the food we ordered was delicious, will be our new go too for Indian food from now.

Ordered food with my two sons few days ago and food was amazing! Staff seemed friendly definitely ordering from them again, thanks for a great first experience :)

Ordered online, after over an hour still no delivery, called to get an update 'maybe next half an hour' half an hour later not a peep. Absolutely ridiculous time to wait after being old would be 40-50 minutes. If it ever arrives I won't be using again, shame as food seems to be nice

We originally ordered from a Indian restaurant in Sudbury who left us waiting over an hour and a half before they called to say that they were cancelling our order. Feeling extremely frustrated and hungry, we decided to order from this restaurant in hope we wouldn’t have to wait too long to get some dinner.We ordered, it was accepted straight away and twenty minutes later our food was delivered.Our food was piping hot and tasted great.The lady who delivered our food was so lovely too which is always a added bonus.Will definitely be ordering from this restaurant every time from now on. ☺️

It's simply delicious. Especially their meatballs. I'm not exactly sure what they were made of, but they were big and juicy. It's the best sugondese food around here. I take one star off because the service argued with me that the food was Indian but I know sugondese food when I see it. But still, the meatballs were delightful. I would highly recommend you try sugondese meatballs.

The best takeaway in Essex!! Delicious food with lots of flavour and not oily at all. We've had a range of dishes and sides from here and they are all beautifully cooked and free delivery too. The Chicken Roshni is my favourite :)

Fantastic. My daughter ordered me a takeaway for Mother's Day. Food was brilliant. Arrived on time was tasty and hot and plenty of it.Will use again in my own right terrific.

Amazing food, Quality ingredients, my chicken madras was beautifully spiced and the sauce was a great consistency not oily and watery like some takeways I have used in the past. My wife had chicken korma which had a really nice flavour and was not lacking in coconut milk. Mint sauce was lovely with both popadoms and garlic nan 👌 bonbay alloo had a different flavour to the generic addition most takaways stick to which was a suprise because the flavour was very good. Portion size was very good and plenty of sauce. 10 out of 10. We will definately be ordering again. With thanks from the Molyneux's in Great Yeldham ❤️

Fantastic! Brilliant balance of flavours. The meats were cooked perfectly. The whole meal for the family was loved by all. 10% off for collection is a great help.

Used to be good. But can't do a simple dish well now. Wouldn't bother as it's so hit an miss. Mainly miss. Vindaloo and rice. How can you balls that up. Well Sagonda can. Over cooked lamb, tomato soup sauce with no kick. Totally pony curry an over priced for the tosh they turn out. Dont bother wasting your money!
