Taste Of China in Braintree

As vegans, we often struggle to find suitable Chinese dishes, but after explaining to the staff we were talked through all the dishes available. We had a great first meal. When we returned, the manager had remembered us and offered us a new vegan starter for free to try. It was delicious! Really grateful for their help and brilliant meals!

Bad food they messed up my order. I asked them to bring the dish they forgot which we paid for and they wouldn't bring it. The food taste like metal

Ordered via deliveroo, one meal wasn’t included in the order. When I phoned to let the restaurant know, they assured me that the missing meal would be sent out to us within 10-15 minutes. It’s been 2 hours and it’s not arrives so I’m assuming it’s not coming..

Smells so good when there... tastes very good when home.

I ordered the Singapore noodles and duck wrap. The food was tasteless, bland and had no seasoning. One of the worst Chinese I've ever had.

Despite being really busy food came out in good time and was extremely nice good quality

They don't know the difference between vegetarian and vegan in 2021. I asked if they had vegan options....the guy on the phone said yes! I listed a few dishes off and he was confident they could be made vegan. Upon arrival the rice noodles and vegetables were full of egg. After eating the vegetable curry i experienced severe stomach cramps. Assuming that also had dairy or something in. Well i won't be ordering again. Very dangerous for someone who has allergies or intollerances. Don't say something is vegan or can be made vegan if it's not!!!

First visit to this takeaway as our regular and local takeaway was closed Food and service here was absolutely superb. The chef brought food to our car, exactly on time and in keeping with local restrictions. Outstanding portions and quality. Well done!

Great chinese takeaway, parking is easy except during the rush hour. The staff are all very friendly. Telephone order are preferred and yoy normally can collect your food in 10 minutes, Fridays and Saturdays can be longer. The food is very good quality and the portions are of a good size. They do not cake card payments CASH only. We have been going here for years and never been disappointed.
