Our afternoon dog walk took us to Panfield, and to our delight the map shows a pub. Not knowing the village we went in search, and it was open. A lovely old Inn with a proper public bar as well as the restaurant area.The four of us and the dog went into their cosy dog friendly bar for drinks and snacks. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the beer was excellent. Plus the bar is full of timbers and character. It's really a great place to visit and relax. We didn't eat there, but intend to go back for food, the menu looks excellent with all the traditional dishes you could want.

Use restaurant average 3,/4 month. First class staff. First class service. First class food. And best of all value for money. During lockdown there home delivery was life saver. Woundfull place hope to be there this Thursday.

Lovely old country. Pub .We booked a table for two and had a lovely meal and plenty big portions. The staff were very friendly looked after us really well.We will definitely go back again.

Ate here as a family. The staff were so friendly, the food was good and good size portions all home cooked and served beautifully. The kids menu is really good and you get a lot for mot much money. We sat in the garden and everything was brought to the table. Nothing was too much trouble! Will definitely go again.

Top notch village pub. Great food, excellent service. Nice to see a local pub busy during the week. Even has a vegan menu if that's your thing!!
