I do so love this pub. Old school with a fantastic thia chef who recognises lovers of good food. Proper thaiA small beer garden, pool and even a bar billiards table! Standard draughts are served. Unpretentious place. Friendly staff.

1st time I went here and the amazing Rooster Tail rock group were playing live. Staff and fellow patrons were more than welcoming and made me feel at home and for someone who suffers anxiety, this was a massive confidence boost. Had the best night ever. Not too expensive either. Highly recommended..

After a few dissapointing experiences I was thinking going out to eat is not worth it after covid... the thai food served at The Blue Anchor proved me wrong! Fantastic choices, friendly staff and absolutely delicious food for a reasonable price... rice was included 😉🤣and presented in a ❤ly way. Thanks for a fantastic experience 😃

Ordered drunken noodles with prawns plus starter for two to takeaway. Generally good food. Premise looked like a cool place to eat in. They're only open Thu, Fri and Sat, and no delivery.

Absolutely fantastic meal, with great starters. We had the sea bream/bass, crispy duck, and mixed seafood: all very tasty (though the seafood stir-fry could have done with a little more fish), but all in all one of the best Thai meals I have eaten round here. We will be back!

This place is so welcoming. Food authentic and very well priced. Water given to you for the table without having to ask. One side of bar more casual and the other, for the more relaxing candlelit dinner. Would be perfect for a romantic evening or just with friends. I went on a Saturday and had a very pleasurable meal. Nice pub that offers Thai cuisine. The food is really good and very reasonably priced and portioned. Good selection of wines and other drinks. Staff were very friendly, will definitely visit again.
