Very nice location, I sat on the patio. Plenty of room inside and out. The wait to place my order was a bit too long but when I got to the front the staff were friendly and helpful. My food and drink was delivered quickly on the Wednesday lunch time when I visited. The food and coffee tasted great. If I have any complaint, it is that the food portions are a bit too big! My lunch was good value for money. I will definitely return.I did return in April 2022, after a break of several years due to Covid. I visited on a Monday lunch time, the queue to order was quite long so I went to the takeaway servery where there was no queue. The coffee and food were just as good as in my previous visits all those years ago. I will continue to revisit from time to time.

My wife and i had lunch at The Blue Egg a few weeks back. The lunch was lovely service was quick. Unfortunately dessert after lunch took far too long. As people with takeaway who had ordered the same as us, after us, got served before us!

Lovely spot. Huge garden and covered outdoor area. Efficient service with friendly staff. Very popular with cyclists. Nice cake and coffee. Recommended.

Great place to stop and get breakfast, great shop too but this time we visited the plant store behind, that is worth a visit too and if breakfast has finished lunch will be starting

Fabulous cafe with lovely hearty healthy home cooked food, bread and cakes. Been here often and love it every time. Plenty of seating inside and out. Popular with cyclists who hoover up the cakes (as they are delicious). Today I had a roasted veg and humus sandwich and my husband a Brie and bacon sandwich. Whilst the bread is thick it is lovely and light and fresh and not heavy at all. We had a chocolate brownie afterwards which are lovely (and rich) although my all time favourite is their chocolate and fig slices.

Popped in to grab some sweet treats, excellent cheesecake, brownies and so many other things. Well worth stopping in if you are nearby!

Lovely place, food is fab but a little on the pricey side. Will be great to get rid of the beeper alarms for the inside of the cafe as very off putting when you're trying to have a relaxing lunch.

A lovely spot for lunch. Plenty of parking and out of town so none of the hassle that brings with it. Great food as well, at reasonable prices.

The food here never disappoints! Between the three of us, we had chicken sweet-and-sour, homemade sausage roll and quiche - and all were great. They also have a great shop and a post office. What more could you ask for? 😄

This is such a lovely place to stop off for lunch. Decent home made and cooked food and a fantastic selection of cakes. The farm shop doesn't have as good a selection of "farm" produce as I remember but it's still nice to look around.
