The Bull in Braintree

The staff were so lovely and helpful! and the food and drinks were super delicious!! over all 10/10 and will definitely go again!! And definitely the best pub i have ever been too!!

If you're a man, this pub is calm, couple types but usually leave u to do your thing. If you're a woman, chances are you'll be analysed and approached lol. They have a dance floor I think, never really bothered to go over there I can't lie. Couple drinks bit pricey for a student like me.

Imagine a toilets that's not been flushed and you have The Bull. Outside it looks a nice pub, maybe even a quaint local to enjoy a punt outside. Step inside and it looks nice too. But within a couple of steps you'll find your feet sticking to the floor. The drinks are expensive for what is essentially a cheap Green King and the toilets are terrible. It's like someone has taken a sledgehammer to the stalls. They are either broken and locked, the panels ripped down so everyone can see you or just plain grim. It's probably a consequence of the fact it's open late on Friday and Saturday, a pit stop for drunks between Spoons and The Lounge . Either way I'd give it a miss. Some staff are friendly, others down right rude and you'll pay for the privelage.

Dog friendly and more than happy to have a guide dog and doggy friends for a hot chocolate n cake!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the Christmas meal was great we also had the table decorated up nicely for Christmas well done team Braintree, you could do with training other greene king pubs better customer services. 🙂

Very nice meal but at £1.35 for a dash of coke they know how to charge like a wounded Bull
