Popped in for a coffee as the cafe across the road was closing at 4pm. Helpful staff and good coffee.

·

The staff were very pleasant and friendly and the food was very nice also the member of staff checked the allergies before taking your order and it is not too much for them to change your order so you can have what you want and the place is very clean and tidy ( well done keep up the good work ) 🙂

·

Very good atmosphere with friendly staff and the food was very tasty and reasonable priced

·

Great selection of beer, good food, warm welcome and friendly staff.

What a real nice pub. A bit earthy, but friendly, and good ale on tap. Wish I lived closer.

I just think this pub could be so much better. No effort has been made to make the inside or outside look nice…aside from a few fairy lights. Majority of other pubs post covid have made the effort to bring people back in, but sadly this pub has not and is resting on it’s laurels. Please make this a more inviting place in both winter and summer…the outside seating area is shockingly dismal. It really wouldn’t take much to change it. Or let someone else take over, please!

Had a lovely first experience here Today, the staff are so friendly and polite. Atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and we had a lovely time. Last but definitely not least, the food, so nice, generous portions and wait time for food was spot on. Great visit and would happily visit again, next time with pudding. Thanks guys 😊

Chef specials night. Set menu. Good food, good price! Would call to make reservation! Nice location. Nice building.Update. We've been back a few times and always enjoyed the food. Recently the vegan and vegetarian options have been limited. Hopefully just a covid thing. A nice place to visit. A nice mixture of a local pub and smart restaurant. They have an outdoor area with seating. No actual "pub garden". Dogs welcome in the bar area which has I believe 3 tables. I don't think they're allowed in the other areas.

We popped in for a drink with the kids as it was a hot day, saw food and decided to get some munch too...! Salad was very nice and we all enjoyed snacking ons some chips and Calamari. Staff were nice and pleasant, and loos (which I went to multiple times due to kids and their weak bladders) were clean and tidy. Overall it was a nice experience.
