The Half Moon Pub in Braintree

Enjoyed a wonderful evening meal here out in the garden. Staff are friendly and welcoming while the beer is spot on. Would definitely recommend.

Had a tasty Sunday lunch here with family, 5 of us altogether. Staff were really helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Roast beef and lamb both good and a decent size. Sticky toffee pudding was tasty but needed more sauce. Fish and chips a hit with the kid. Chips are big cut ones.

Lovely home cooked food and very reasonably priced. Great little pub and lovely staff. Nice ale too!

Stunning little place. The food is absolutely outstanding. Lovely friendly accommodating staff. I would have given more stars if possible. We will definitely come here again if in the area.

Rode past this pub on a bike ride and promised to take my wife. We just went tonight had a lovely meal and some nice drinks (good choice of ales). Service was first class. Lovely setting and great history. Would highly recomend and we will certainly revisit👍
