"The Kings Arms is a quaint countryside pub, restaurant and Bed & Breakfast run by a small team of friends and family. We endeavour to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which customers can comfortably enjoy their visit with us, whether it is to have a sociable drink or to select a meal from our home cooked menu. In the summertime our large garden provides a tranquil environment while during the winter months our open fire is always an irresistible magnet. If you are visiting us for an overnight stay we are surrounded by plenty of places of interest, beautiful countryside to enjoy whilst following the Essex Way and we are in close proximity to many popular wedding venues."

Firstly, really nice/friendly staff. A shallow but lengthy pub old school with a great outdoor space with tables and chairs/benches.Pick anything off the menu and you will not be disappointed, great quality cooking and care with their food 👍.I like having dinner here with the wife.Also it’s a b n b, old and a new block of very comfortable rooms. I’ll always pop here for food when in this area *****

Just stayed for 1 night for work, b&b in a 'deluxe' room, which is one of the rooms in the separate building.Room was very nice, well maintained, heat/air-con climate controlled and spotlessly clean.Breakfast was excellent - wide choice of cereals, fruits and full English breakfast options.All staff very friendly.Wouldn't hesitate to return.

In terms of value for money (in a B&B sense), this place is great. The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. I would've given them 5 stars, but I reported a problem with my shower head which unfortunately was not fixed. Food in thr restaurant for evening meals is fairly basic, but I have no complaints

Proper old Inn on the A120 Roman road between Coggeshall and Colchester. Nice beer garden out the back with views across fields, dining room and standard public bar for a local. Very traditional, welcoming and relaxed. We popped in for a nice drink and a snack.

Great sized room, lovely high ceiling, clean and very comfortable bed. We loved the pub breakfast and the cook was very helpful to us suggesting places of local interest. Evening meal was also excellent.Overall....A Great Oldy Worldy pub with excellent new rooms overlooking fields and garden. will definitely be returning next year. Thank you to the team

Visited a couple times whilst staying in the local area and it is a lovely pub. Very friendly and allow dogs inside too. Food was excellent and at a very good price. Highly recommend.

Don't be put off by what looks like just a little country pub beautiful rooms opening on to a lovely court yard area. Friendly staff and great service and breakfast.
