Delicious food, friendly staff, best 🍔 burger ever

We picked this pub at random from Google Maps for somewhere to meet for a family meal, as it was convenient for everyone to get to, and we are so glad that we did did.We were seated in the conservatory restaurant which was nice and bright and airy. Everything was clean and tidy, well laid out and comfortable.The staff were absolutely fabulous; very friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.The food was wonderful; there was a large and varied selection for all three courses and everything our party ordered was cooked to perfection, well presented and the portion sizes the most acceptable.Another thing that please me was that there was a disabled access toilet and as my father was with us and is in a wheelchair, this was very convenient and most welcome. Something you rarely find in pub restaurants.All in all, The Kings Head was a cracking find. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable family meal and we would definitely be making our way back there again!Many thanks.

Bit of a wait for the food due to a large party elsewhere in the pub,but the food and service was good. Would go again.

This was a lovely pub. We were on a camping trip in our camper van, they have a large overflow carpark that we were allowed to stay in, they were also kind enough to let us charge our devices. The food was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and kind. Thank you all for the excellent experience

Stopped here for a quick pit stop while on a bike ride. A fantastic village pub. Staff were great. Very friendly and attentive. Food was great and very tasty. Notice a few events advertised too so they will be looked into. On the whole a lovely pub and well worth a visit.

Amazing on the inside, a small wine selection, but you get the sense that they paid attention to the dishes on the menu, so you can easily match a wine to what you’re eating. The staff are polite, attentive and they know the menu from left to right.Lift this pub up, move it to the centre of London, and I’d have to write about a 3 month waiting list. Fortunately, we managed to grab a seat within a week. Staggeringly brilliant local venue. Roast dinners are the highlight and a perfect location for a laid back venue, where you can come as a couple or the whole family.

I was so impressed with our evening here. We came here with 2 kids, the staff were amazing and welcoming. There were several little touches including a mini library and bits throughout that made us feel welcome. The food was great and they had a nice selection of wines there, the guest beer was lovely too. Thanks for a lovely evening!
