Very good fish and chips.

Excellent food at a good price, what more could you ask for!

We have ordered from here in the past, but today was the final straw. Usually we ignore things like the stupidly high prices (£4.25 for chips) or the smaller portion size than other local establishments... but today it cannot be ignored.We placed a £62 order through Just Eat, and 30 minutes after the scheduled delivery time we called to find out where the food was. The restaurant HADNT EVEN PREPARED THE ORDER. They claim to have tried to call to confirm the order as it was "so large" and we wanted to pay by cash.So yeah... food is good, but overpriced and small. Oh and be careful not to order too much, because they might just not bother. Won't be ordering from here, ever again.

Whilst these guys do a very nice fish and chips, confusingly, they really do make the best kebabs in Braintree. Super friendly, honest service and great food. Brilliant!

Amazing! Placed an order for my husband tonight and amazing delivery time arrived in under 20 mins! Food was delicious as always we have never had a bad experience I would highly recommend.Thank you to the staff that always provide high quality service here.

Ordered meal deal for 2people. Delivered on time,friendly staff when ordered. Fish was Perfectly cooked and so were the battered mushrooms.Everything was piping hot too.!! Good portion sizes,cannot fault at all,well done Manor Plaice!!

Love the chips and great value - just wish they'd get rid of the polystyrene trays and plastic bags!

Very friendly . Good customer service. Nice family run business. Best chippy in Braintree won't go anywhere else. Food always fresh and if daughter is with me they give her a lolly. Can have a laugh with them.

Fish and chips were very nice. Shame the peas and ketchup we'd ordered didn't make the bag. Also a shame that they were wrapped with so much paper, it seemed intended only to get in our way, rather than for anything practical. Also, being offered same and vinegar would have been nice. Getting the salt and vinegar we'd asked for would have been even nicer...
