Great local chinese - order 99% always right - portions just the right size - have tried several other chinese takeaway around the area and 100% prefer this one

Great food - POOR PACKAGING - So much plastic and ploystyrien Why are you guys so slow to ctach on or have any sympathy for the enviroment. I loved the food but the packaging puts me right off. Will not return unless you change this.

Small order but lovely food. Had chicken chow mein, special fried rice and curry sauce. Very tasty and freshly made.

Lovely food .....reason for 3 stars are couple of the delivery drivers are rude and intimadating standing in way of entrance and when they are inside shop they do not socially distance and wear no masks

Ordered through big foodie food hadn’t arrived in the time frame so called & they hadn’t even seen the order that arrived 1h30m earlier. The lady on the phone literally said well I just missed it! Not great service!

Expensive for what you get.I wouldn't say it's the best Chinese around, there are certainly better. In my opinion the dishes were very small for what you pay.Just had the chicken in yellow bean sauce £5.70 and it was very dry, as if the chicken was cooked earlier in the day and then re-heated. Everything else was "ok" not fantastic but - edible.I expect fresh food - not re-heated food!When I phoned up and complained they offered me a replacement dish, but I opted for £5.70 credit the next time I go there. (If I go there because everyone had finished their food)

What a shame i am writing this review as the food is good from this chinese which we have used before , however this is the 2nd issue with delivery that i have had in last few months. The first time the delivery never turned up as i ordered through just eat and i was told they never recieved the order, fair enough mistaked are made . I ordered direct a couple of times after and was fine , tonight however placed an order and was told 1 hr for delivery , after 1 hr 10 mins i called back to ask how my order was getting on . I was told 'Hold on' , then a reply of 'its still in our kitchen', i mean not even im really sorry or i apologise , not nothing and i think that is so disgusting. I replied ' its still in your kitchen i have waited 1hr10 mins ' and then silence, i aks 'excuse me ' to which i got back 'yes im sorry', i mean how bad service is that.Wont be using Masefield takeaway again and would noy recommend to anyone .
