The Strawberry Tearoom in Braintree

Booked a table for my sister and my dad for his 85th Birthday, we all enjoyed our food, great service and they gave my dad a slice of cake with a candle, made his day, definitely recommend

Table service only took an age for order to be taken yes they were fairly busy ,it took nearly 45mins for food to arrive that was after we had to go and ask how much longer it was going to take ,to say we shall not be eating or drinking there again

Lovely and clean and homely ,plenty of space for a wheelchair The food was good and nicely prepared ,staff helpful and polite and helped by opening the door for me and the lady in the wheel chair when we left

The staff here are always cheery, and the food changes on a daily basis with a good selection. You can sit outside or inside, and wait times are good. There were books for kids last time I went which was good. It's worth noting the toilets are in demountables outside, which is a little inconvenient.
