Ying Oriental Home Gourmet in Braintree

Had a delivery from them this evening,20 minutes late.Driver very rude.Food terrible, thrown most of it in the bin.Don't waste your money.

We have been ordering from Ying Oriental for 6 years now and it is lovely food, very polite staff and fast delivery. We are moving out of area soon and will really miss the lovely lady that takes our orders and the gorgeous food. Well done Ying! Keep up the good work... we will miss you! Xx

Well I don't know what has happened but we ordered some food last Friday evening and it was in edible we had to throw it away the ribs were all fat and and dident tast right the pork balls were so over cooked the chow was not right the whole thing was disgusting we will never order again

OMG! Don't order here please we were very disappointed. will not be back. Slimy under cooked chilli chicken. Satay chicken overcooked. Awful meal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best Chinese in Witham since the new guys took over more than a year ago! The food is always FRESH, its cooked to perfection, not oily or salty - just right. I live in London and this is the only Chinese takeaway that I will eat. 5 stars - 10/10

The only place we get Chinese from since everywhere else always disappoints. Their dishes have always been delicious, hot and fresh with perfect textures, staff are really friendly. We recommend the duck chow mein!

This was appalling, they took an hour and 20 mins to deliver, half of the food tasted off and was wet and soggy, I received dishes I didn't order and missed out on others I didn't. Would advise avoiding this place or approach with great caution if you dare

I love this takeaway! The food is always hot and fresh when it arrives at my door!They say you get what you pay for & Ying is no exception, it can be a little more expensive than other takeaways in Witham but you can taste the difference!My favourites from here are the Mongolian Lamb in soy sauce with egg fried rice and chicken satay skewers, the wife loves their chicken chow mein or crispy chilli beef.Easy to get to as it's on the high street (unfortunately no wheelchair entrance but I'm sure they'd do everything they could to accommodate), always polite when I speak to them on the phone and the people who deliver the food are always nice too!My only wish is that they'd open a sit down restaurant, because the alternatives in town are either too expensive (Liam) or provide a sub par service (Plum Valley - Please refer to my review)

This is without doubt the best chinese in essex. The service is always brilliant and time after time the food is excellent. Also they will cook special food for you if you are gluten intolerant.
