They ran out of the Adnums ale (local beer) and the burger was fine, definitley can be made better by simply toasting buns! Would be 4 stars but it was extremely expensive for what it was.

By far the best place in Norfolk for a carvery. The rest of the menu is great too. Very good value for money and service.

Four of us stopped in for something to eat and was welcomed with a lovely clean freshly decorated wonderful restaurant. Had a "Steak Hoagie" was a little wet but truly scrummy. My wife had king prawns whoch were also divine. Their Sticky Toffee pudding is one of the best i have experienced anywhere (even if there was a piece of greaseproof stuck to the bottom) - a minor point. Will definately be going back.

Really enjoy coming here for the carvery. Always a lovely experience. The cinnamon donuts with chocolate sauce was a yummy bonus!!

Best tasting roast around! Actually tasted like food wasn't bland! Fast service and not rushed to leave!

Phoned The Stag at 7.30pm to see if there was a remote change of getting a table for ten people, the staff were absolutely brilliant, they managed to squeeze us in for 8.15pm and we all had delicious meals. I can’t thank you enough for saving the day as it was my birthday and I was let down big time by another establishment.

I’ve not tried the food, but I popped in on my way to Norwich because I needed to drop a log and they were very accommodating. Five stars.

Restaurant wonderful. Carvery excellent at a fair price. Comfortable, no pressure, good atmosphere.

Went for late lunch on Sunday. Plenty of food choices, carvery excellent too. Warm, friendly atmosphere and social distancing just right. Staff friendly and efficient. We shall return!!!
