Food is s very good. Plenty of space to sit too.The only thing was the server was a bit frosty. Not sure why. It's a shame because it really let's a place down when servers aren't pleasant.Other than that give it a try. Food brilliant.

We drove past a few times on holiday and I dismissed it repeatedly but we were finally tempted in by the number of people there each time we passed and the amount of covered outdoor space. Food and service were excellent so I wasn't disappointed to be proven wrong.

I had a Moroccan spiced soup with home made brown bread, was gorgeous for a reasonable price. They also do bottles of doom bar, my favourite. Food was very quickly brought out and service was excellent and friendly. I will be using Browns a lot from now on.

Absolutely wonderful café/restaurant with a great menu combined British classics with modern fare. Lovely outdoor area for summer dining. Large staff make for fast efficient service. So impressed!

We only had coffee and scones but we're very pleased with the service, food and drinks. The scones were still very warm, fresh from the oven, with jam and cream. What a treat. The staff were very efficient. The meals passing on their way to other tables looked great too. Fairly busy on Saturday mornings but service was quick so don't let that put you off.

Stopped here for lunch on our trip away. The outside left us feeling unsure but on entry it had a pleasant atmosphere and so much better in than out. The food was delicious and the wine with lunch went down a treat on a nice sunny afternoon. The staff were great and it was reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend !

Minimal options on the menu, staff not willing to adapt any meal and very quick to tell us how long we had left until they needed the table back but not forthcoming in actually providing service. The only reason I have given 2 stars is because the food we did get served was very nice. But the overall service was below standard. A real shame as this is a very nice place.

We stopped here for lunch. Pleasant staff. The food here is always hearty. I really enjoyed my tuna and sweetcorn sandwich. The granary bread was very fresh and delicious.

Looked like a transport cafe from the outside so wasn't expecting much but it was really nice inside. Food was amazing. Only had a ham sandwich and some chips but it was lovely on really nice bread. Would definitely recommend.
