Great pub, very friendly staff serving lovely food. The only slight issue for me was the limited choice of ales - shame!!

Had a meal with my family here. The food is fantastic. I had the pan-fried salmon. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place.

Table was not ready upon arrival and had to be set up by ourselves Limited menu on a Saturday night which was not great, limiting choices Meals did not arrive at the same time, very staggered Food was great and cooked to perfection

Lovely Food and a nice beer garden! Especially nice in the summer! Often walk down here from Park Farm Campsite during the summer for some food and a pint!

We only stopped for drinks, but staff and pub are lovely. There is a great play area for the kids, the youngest really enjoyed. The food looked great. We're already talking about when we can come back for a meal.

Living in the village we are keen to use this lovely looking pub. However since recently changing chef the food is dreadfull. Avoid anything fried as it was dripping in oil, literally could not eat the onion rings as they filled my mouth with oil. Very poor considering it's not exactly Wetherspoon prices. Nice place for a drink, avoid food completely!

If you're reading this, but still haven't decided to visit ..... Do it soon. We all have regrets over the years. Don't add to the list. Great staff, variety of drinks (Inc real ales) and food VERY locally sourced. Plenty of parking attached, and a covered outside space. A lovely venue full of 18th century character. ( I am totally unbiased, as I have no connection to the business.)

Second girls night out since Covid and this one did not disappoint! Much busier than we are used to but then it was their Halloween party night! The staff were all dressed up and appeared to be enjoying themselves whilst they did a super job of serving everyone. The starters and mains were delicious, hot, beautifully laid out and not disappointing. The Brulee was ok, more like an angel delight, tasted nice but not quite up to the standards of the first two courses.Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will happily recommend and visit again

Very pricey. I felt they didn't have much choice for kids menu. We had to wait a very long time for our meal. But it is s lovely inside
