Elveden Inn in Breckland

Enjoyable lunch, food and beer very good and a pleasant location. A little confusion over the food order but tasted fine when it arrived. Seating could do with a good clean but otherwise we liked it

What a lovely, amazing place to stay! The room was absolutely spotless, nicely furnished with top quality furniture. Best part of my stay was the staff, such an incredibly nice bunch of people. But most of all, the breakfast - utterly delicious! Thanks for a great stay.

My husband and I just had an overnight stay at Elveden Inn staying in room Brown Hare. The room was spotless and spacious. 3 fans were available in the wardrobe plus ironing facilities. Hot chocolate, Teas and coffees in the room and bottled water which was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable so made a note of the local supplier as will be buying the same for home!! Hubby was very happy that he could log into his Prime and Netflix in the room rather than just have freeview ( who said romance is dead!!!). The food was gorgeous we had the breakfast that was included with the room rate and the portions were huge and of great FRESHLY MADE quality. My evening meal the night before was the Braised Venison pie which was bested only by a meal I once had at the Savoy!! I understand The food is all locally sourced and I have read other reviews that mention slow service but I did not find this. The Garden room is lovely and tables very nicely spaced out which is appreciated in these Covid times. The food was served without a long wait and was a freshly cooked stunning meal. All staff were lovely, welcoming and very efficient but special thanks to LEON. Exceptional customer service, he could not do enough with service and helpful info in relation to the local area. We will be returning for sure.

We drove all the way from Eastbourne to go to Walsingham,and we noticed the beautiful surrounding of the Elveden. We stopped by for a lunch.Staff was absolutely brilliant,polite courteous and quick to take our order. We sat outside with our puppy. The food was mouthwatering! We had a beautiful time. We cannot thank Danielle and her brother Andrew (and all Dining Staff for their Top Service)enough.We have already booked a room for next week. We highly recommend it.

I was very grateful for the directions to the hall on a banner on the side of the road. The parking, decor and welcome were lovely.My dog was at a nearby vet so, as there isn't any mobile signal in the area, the staff allowed a call through to me.I had an Aubergine steak with pomegranate seeds and salad. The breadcrumb topping was a little salty. However, the rest of the meal was lovely. Some of the dishes are quite expensive therefore it's great as a place to eat to celebrate a occasion.

Very good and comfortable room in the annex. Great breakfast . Very friendly and helpful staff. If you are wanting somewhere to stay when in the area, you won't get better value than here.

Food was of an average standard! We ordered the sirloin steak and it was not on parr with the price at all! Fish and chips were lovely though, service was slow and the waitresses were more interested in chatting to each other in the bar area!

A beautiful Inn.We stayed for Christmas Eve/Day a couple of years ago, everyone is always so welcoming, friendly and acomodating.Nothing is ever too much for them.We've been a few times for drinks and went on New Year's day without a booking, they kindly accommodated us, as well as provided us with the most delicious food.Really pleasant staff, beautiful Inn located in a beautiful area.Honestly a charming and heartwarming place.

This is a lovely hotel. The room was beautiful, the staff very nice, helpful and friendly. The food was great a d we have booked again to go in the summer as its on the edge of a beautiful estate with some lovely walks.

Fantastic local pub / hotel. In gorgeous setting, they are dog friendly inside and out. Have a fantastic children’s play area. Lots of areas / seating for whatever the occasion. The menu for both food and drink, are extensive! With a fantastic range for all dietary needs. We love the cosy, country feel and decoration. Always clean. The staff are fantastic & always friendly.
