George's Fish Bar in Breckland

Went overboard due the likes on George's fish and chips brought to much but i admit there grub was A1 worth the trip and will finish of on Sunday for breakfast worth the price there fish and chips perfect.

Best fish and chips for miles . All ways cooked fresh , hot and tasty

Prices are getting too high but the service is friendly they have to be watched as the orders have been wrong too often

Fish and chips were delicious service excellent

I give 5 stars but only for the chips , the chips are by far the very best in the whole area, almost like the old school chips from back in the day, very satisfying.Unfortunately the same could not be said for the fish, very greasy and the batter was far too thick , I tossed all the batter and just eat the fish, the fish meat was plentiful but it was quite dry and chewy.The peas, oh dear, only 1 star as they were very poor quality indeed !!If I go again I'm only going for the lovely chips ..that's it.

We only had lunchtime chips, but they were freshly cooked, spanking and a proper big serving! We will be returning.

Very good and delicious Fish and Chips, you get a good portion for what you paid. The customer service was amazing quick fast and super friendly. I ordered my food and was gonna eat in the car with the kids but since there was picnic tables I decided to eat out side of the place. An old lady came by to pick up her order and the person working there came out helped her sit down on the picnic table and was super friendly to her making sure she was alright. You know this place is great when they genuinely care about the costumers. I will be coming here all the time from now on. My kids loved it. I love eating my fish with lemon and asked hoping they had lemons and they did!!! Made my first experience wonderful.

This is my local chip shop. The chips have really improved of late. Very good flavour, a varied choice on the menu. The only thing I don’t like is the huge chip portions. It’s okay at the moment because I share with my Dad. A small portion is enough for four. Plenty of space for free parking and friendly staff. Also somewhere to sit and wait for the food.

I have been here several times and have found the staff friendly. The chips are excellent too with decent sized portions. No complaints whatsoever and would definitely return if in the area. Easy to park up. I parked opposite the shop and ate my chips in my car.
