Nice quiet hotel. It is a bit in the middle of knowhere. And would probably have gotten 4* but the evening food and friendly staff member were too good to only give 4* too.Make sure to book the pool as it gets full. Will definitely return if in the area.

We stayed here with my wedding party for the weekend. Julie was so amazing. Letting me into each room to lay gifts before my family and friends arrived. The rooms were spacious and so comfy. The setting of the hotel is stunning.

We stayed as a family of 8 for 2 nights, staying as my daughter was getting married at CHB 2 miles away. The hotel was beautiful, set in lovely grounds with country views. We stayed in rooms, 7, 8 and 9 which were very well furnished with everything we could need. These were set in the grounds just outside the main hotel The breakfast was excellent and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I wish I had been able to stay longer!

The most perfect place to take a disabled person, there is a ground floor annex and fully equipped, also supply any equipment you need. A lovely small cosy hotel and a good restaurant

We stayed at the shed and breakfast. It's a little hut on stilts with a very comfortable bed with tea and coffee making facilities. It has a lovely view of the lake that is perfect to relax. The room was spotless, clean and tidy with lanten lights over the mirror that add to feel. In fact the whole place/hotel very very clean and tidy. There is a swimming pool and hot tub that you can use that again is very well maintained and you can hire this by the hour.We booked an evening meal in the restaurant. It was good home cooked food that didn't take long to arrive and was perfectly presented. All the staff were very helpful.Breakfast is served 830 till 930 we got there at 9 and was greeted with tea, coffee and a choice of fruits and cereals while we waited for our cooked breakfast to arrive. All I can say about that is perfect, thick bacon, proper sausages and great scrambled eggs. All in all a very pleasant place to stay which is great to relax, good views and very friendly owners. We will be staying here again but in the hotel as it will be too cold to stay in the shed.Thank you.

What a little gem. Room was great, clean and very well thought out. Grounds maintained superbly, had dinner and breakfast. Enjoyed both thoroughly. Highly recommend the chocolate brownie, it was a delight. And an evening stroll around the lake was a great way to end the day. Would i stay again - Yes. Would a recommend - Yes.

Have just returned home after spending 11 months at Greenbanks due to the flooding of my property.I have nothing but praise & thanks for the way I have been looked after nothing was too much trouble, Alex & Julie looked after me as if I was their own Mum & all the staff became like a family to me so caring & thoughtful.Food was GREAT & I certainly miss it !!!Lovely walks around the lake & many seats to sit in the sun & facilities for a barbeque. My sincere thanks to them all.

Currently staying in the barn at greenbanks hotel. I'm a full time wheelchair user with 2 toddlers. Everyone has been fantastic. The rooms are amazing and the swimming pool is too die for!!! So reasonably priced too. Very impressed so far.
